- **Ticket Fairy** featured first, for your whole event

## What matters for your events

What should a trade show or exhibition look for in event management software?

You sell stands to exhibitors, place them on a floor plan, register visitors and delegates, badge everyone who comes through the door and run a program of talks on the show floor. You need exhibitor applications and stand booking, a floor plan you can share, badges and access control, ticketing for visitors and a schedule visitors can save.

1. You keep exhibitors and suppliers, with their applications, orders and quotes, in one place.
2. You draw your floor plan and share it with exhibitors and visitors.
3. Your door team scans badges for visitors, exhibitors and staff.
4. Visitors and delegates register and pay in the same system.
5. Visitors save the talks they want to see.

## How we chose and ranked them

How did we choose and rank these platforms?

Ticket Fairy publishes this list and features its own platform first. You can run your whole show on it, from exhibitor applications and the floor plan to visitor tickets, badges and crew. Other platforms rank by how many of these five capabilities they include: exhibitors and suppliers, a site or floor plan, accreditation, ticketing and sessions. Ties are decided by fit for a trade show, where stand booking, the floor plan and badges at the door matter most. Eventeny, Whova, Cvent, RainFocus and EventUp Planner each count four: Eventeny does not describe staff or exhibitor passes, EventUp Planner prints badges from an attendee export, and Whova and RainFocus do not document a floor plan builder, which Cvent sells separately. EventMobi, Webex Events and Stova do not document supplier management, which Stova sells as an add-on, or a floor plan builder, so each counts three. ZAPP runs applications and booths but does not document admission ticket sales, so it counts one of the five. We describe every platform from its own published pages, and every fact links to its source, so you can check it before you choose.
