### DICE suits you if you need

- For sold-out events, returned tickets are offered to fans on the Wait List, each with a reserved buying window.[2](#source-2)

### Eventbrite suits you if you need

- Publishing free events has no ticketing fee.[3](#source-3)
- Eventbrite describes its discovery marketplace as reaching 89 million monthly users.[4](#source-4)

## Why do event teams sell tickets with Ticket Fairy instead of DICE or Eventbrite?

Event teams use DICE and Eventbrite to sell tickets, scan them at the door and market to fans. Ticket Fairy charges one standard booking fee on every plan, and you choose whether buyers pay it on top of your price or you absorb it. You can be paid daily as tickets sell, or after the show, and fans resell and transfer tickets at face value while spare tickets go to your waiting list. Your door team scans on their own phones, and your customer list shows your repeat and lapsed buyers.
