Of course, everyone does, and if there’s an abundance of it, you can’t get enough of it. Fortunately, you don’t have to look far since MR.BLACK’s has just what you’re looking for. When an endless pit of creative influences comes into contact with emotional storytelling, you have MR.BLACK’s ‘hybrid’ style of rumbling and engaging dance music. Pioneering the hybrid of big room and trance music, MR.BLACK’s catalog has reached the finest imprints in the game. MR.BLACK’s penchant for delivering adrenaline-surging beats led to the inception of HYBIT Records, where is all set to land his debut long release, ‘Tranceformation.’ With a clear storyline in mind for each of his tunes on the album, MR. BLACK has truly delivered his magnum opus. Having already released a few tunes, with the rest of them to follow on September 8, we had a chat with the Israeli DJ and producer about his debut album, his hybrid style of productions, evolution of his sound, and lots more. **TFword: Congratulations on the release of your stunning debut album. What are your thoughts on how the release has shaped up?** **MR.BLACK:** We’ve already released multiple singles from the album, with the next one ‘Voyage’ with Blastoyz. Some of the tracks really took some great attention like ‘Flight 303,’ ‘Tranceformation’ which is one of my favourite weapons during my sets, as well as ‘Papi’, ‘The Machines’ and the album version of ‘Party People’. **TF: How long was ‘Tranceformation’ in the works?** **MR.BLACK:** I started earlier around January this year and it took me around 7 months to finalize it. It’s been an exciting yet a challenging experience to finalize stuff with tight deadlines in between the tours. **TF: What’s special about the album is just the perfect blend of solo and collaborative material. What was your thought process like while shaping the album?** **MR.BLACK:** Tranceformation blends all the worlds and musical genres that inspire me, you can hear the psy elements, techno fused kicks, trance leads, and breakdown with breakbeat elements, mixing between classic flavors that I grew up on in the early 00s and the more modern sounds that represents my catalog, as I wanted to ‘Transform’ the old and good into the new and modern. ****TF:**There’s house, there’s trance, there’s techno and there’s even a heavy influence of breaks on ‘Tranceformation.’ It’s an album that exhibits your trademark style to full effect. What are your thoughts?** **MR.BLACK:** This is absolutely correct. As I wrote in the previous answer, my main mission was to really bring all sounds and worlds together into one piece which is the ‘Tranceformation’ album. I checked who produced this record, and I was surprised to see that it was someone from Israel, so I approached him and the rest is history. I think my genre is Trance as a core with fusion of different elements, in high-energy BPM and vibe. ****TF:**Right from your first release a decade ago to your mind-bending music in 2023, how do you think your style has evolved over the years?** **MR.BLACK:** The more I developed my sound over time it became clearer to me what I want to bring to the table in terms of vision. It took time but at some point I realized that Trance has always been the core for me and therefore I always want to make sure that the Trance elements are there. I’ve been blessed to be around the world and get the embrace of all the fans, whether it’s in Asia where I played Japan, Korea, Thailand or if it’s Europe where I did lots of festivals but also club shows. This has definitely been one of my best years and I’m just super happy about the reaction and feedback for my music and of course the love from the fans. ****TF:**What’s coming next for MR.BLACK?
