Imon’s debut track delves into his passion for life and paying tribute to the folks he’s grown up idolizing, while inspired by artists such as Hozier, Bon Iver, and the late Jeff Buckley. “Homage felt like a fitting place to start for the stories I wish to share. I know that my fascinations will evolve in the coming years, but for a while now I have enjoyed writing about time and change because it moves, and sometimes even scares me. I cannot think of a song that better introduces my fears and passions,” says Imon about the track. ‘Homage’ unwraps with a melancholic piano melody delicately graced by Imon’s buoyant-gloomy vocal arrangement.
