Martin Jensen**: “I really enjoyed it! From the start, I knew I wanted to work with a diverse and broad range of artists across sounds, genders, locations, and so on. I really enjoy working with other artists as you never know what direction each artist will push and pull into with exciting ideas. I like the unknown and where that union can lead a track or project, which is what I feel we really managed to capture across the ‘HYPEBEAST’ EP. Are there any other fun anecdotes you can share about how you selected collaborators for the EP?** **Martin Jensen:** Haha, yes, I did! To work with Sami was super fun, and what better way to reach out than organically? She is a party girl, and I was in the party mode and had been wanting to reach out to her for a while, so with some Danish ‘Viking courage,’ I did, and she was super receptive and got the vision I had with the production. I’d been a fan of a number of artists across the EP, from Bradeazy, who I thought was a super dope and fun guy with his projects, he is always up for a fun time, over to YAKO and more artists I was just a fan of – plain and simple! I think the only way to be able to work with other artists is to be a genuine fan of them, to then make that chemistry both in and out of the studio to work. I’d say to anyone wanting to collaborate more in their music, reach out. What is the worst that could happen? **TF: Your career recently reached another milestone: ten years in the game with many memorable events. Congratulations! Can you share a significant highlight or learning from the past ten years that has impacted you the most?** **Martin Jensen:** I think I have grown so much, both as an artist and personally. I’ve grown up a lot, and I think my sound, albeit still fun and rooted in the club and house music, is a reflection of how I now feel more self-assured in my work than ever. I don’t want to chase trends or just tick boxes that some labels may want me to mold myself into, which is why ‘HYPEBEAST’ felt like such a key and pivotal release for me. **TF: What do you think the next ten years look like for Martin Jensen?** **Martin Jensen:** Looking forward, I am also super excited to get back on the road again, too, with some super exciting shows and tours to be announced later this year.
