Known for its consistent, fearless, and innovative sonic evolutions, the Israeli duo has had a defining say in the explosion of electronic dance music worldwide. Operating primarily in trance music while experimenting with an array of styles, Infected Mushroom boast a loyal fanbase across the globe. After coming together to make music in the mid-90s, Infected Mushroom released its first album ‘The Gathering’ in 1999, which resulted from the duo gathering inspiration from some heroes of psychedelic music like Simon Posford, X-Dream, and Transwave. The melodic yet aggressive approach of the album broke the European, Japanese, and American markets, making Infected Mushroom one of Israel’s key production duos.
