Die neueste Single holt Bassvibrationen von George Joseph und treibende Drums von Jai Row Kavi ins Boot. Das Artwork und der fesselnde visuelle Teaser stammen vom bildenden Künstler Chinmay Patkar, der zugleich als Sänger und Gitarrist der in Mumbai ansässigen Band Corner Café Chronicles aktiv ist. [Delicate Surrender](https://www.youtube.com/embed/_ix21RgfDJw?feature=oembed) Für „Delicate Surrender“ schöpft das Trio Inspiration aus New Wave, Goth und Post-Punk. Aarifahs ausdrucksstarker Gesang trägt den Track, der Synthesizer und Gitarrenelemente optimal einsetzt. Vier Minuten lang werden die Hörer in ein tanzbares, eingängiges Gemisch aus Dream-Pop, Shoegaze und Rock geworfen. Die Band beschreibt den Song als „vielleicht einen der introspektivsten Songs, der aber durchaus tanzbar ist … also lasst uns alle glücklich zu den endlosen Zyklen aus Versprechen und Enttäuschungen des Lebens weinen.“ Long Distances fanden während der Pandemie zunächst über Online-Sessions auf Zoom zusammen. Im Mai 2023 stürmte die Crew im Antisocial in Mumbai die Bühne, spielte eigene Songs und außerdem ein mitreißendes [Cover](https://www.instagram.com/longdistances.ig/) von Fleetwood Macs „Dreams“.
