This weekend, on August 6, one of India’s top techno and house artist – BLOT!, will perform at Auro Kitchen & Bar in Aurobindo palace market in New Delhi, India. Musician, producer, and DJ, Gaurav Malaker, better known for his electronic music project BLOT!, will return to Auro after his performance there in May 2022. Gaurav began playing music as a teenager and quickly became the go-to performer for smaller clubs, wedding receptions, and parties. Before becoming a full-time musician in 2010, he learned some of his skills surfing the internet and on YouTube. He was always intrigued by electronic music. Initially, his genre was primarily hip-hop before making a name for himself in the techno and house music scenes. In his musical career, Gaurav has received the VH1 Soundnation award for Best Electronic Act in 2014, as well as the Artist of the Year and Best Techno DJ at the MyFav Awards in 2016. [Blot! He is a regular performing artist at Auro and was on the lineup in May, too. It hosts weekly events such as dance workshops, stand-up comedy, karaoke, and other events. Blot! & Rædl’s show comes just a week after the venue hosted music producer Nordfold from Amsterdam, DJ and music producer Kynamic, and DJ JayD. Auro is also a mainstay in hosting Boxout Wednesdays, featuring some of the most impressive talents in techno, house, and DnB behind the deck.
