They charge onstage around 7 PM and gave us a peek into their set, saying, “Bradamon are representing the Australian reggae scene when we hit the One Love stage, something we are extremely humbled and excited by. Without spoiling the fun, our set will feature a few hidden surprises and we hope to shock the on-goers with our musicianship and vibe.” We also got an opportunity to speak with singer/songwriter and reggae artist Rodney Te Tawhero aka Brutha Rodz, who went in-depth with us about his performance at One Love. He conveyed that he had a thirty-minute slot and would be dropping an original set and some old favorites. “I love playing at One Love, this will be my second time but first, as a solo artist so I get to tick that off the bucket list! I know there will be heaps of friends and whanau in attendance so I’m keen as to put on a good performance for everyone on the pinnacle of Reggae stages in Aotearoa!” says Brutha Rodz. Singer/rapper Chase Woods also chimed in with us about the showcase, expressing, “I’m really excited to share the stage with talented artists from all around the world.
