Released on February 28, 2025, the song describes an account of a person ready for the next phase in their relationship but also touches upon the inherent vulnerabilities of asking that special question. ‘Knees’ upholds the Mumbai-based band’s signature indie/surf-rock motif, opening with a breezy melody assembled with easy-going guitar picks and airy drum patterns. The composition is marked with polished work on the synths, dreamy upbeat rhythms, snappy guitar strokers, and Zico’s mellow singing. Stitched into the music are backing vocals from singers Neel Adhikari and Karshni Nair, who season the tune with a soothing and pacifying touch against the song’s nail-biting theme.
