During the segment, Guetta delivered counsel on how to read the crowd and wade through a challenging set when the club isn’t vibing by first confessing, “This happens even to me,” and then clapping back at the notion that sets are prepared and recorded in advance. He states, “This is why pre-recorded sets make no sense.” On how to win over the crowd, Guetta dropped some gems and encouraged performers to shake up their playlist until they get a response from the crowd, and then “play more of that style.” He explained, “You need to be able to try different things until you win. And when you win, you make them happy.
