# Get Every Event Agreement Drafted, Checked and Signed

Every event runs on dozens of agreements with performers, speakers, traders, suppliers and crew, and each one usually starts with retyping a deal you already agreed. With Ticket Fairy you start the contract from that deal, Fai points out where its wording differs from your usual terms and which clauses need your lawyer's eye, and the other side signs on their phone without an account. Send the same agreement to a whole line-up at once, let Fai check an agent's own contract against your offer term by term, and give every performer, trader and crew member a pack with their own contract, day sheet and rider.

- Contracts drafted from the deal you agreed
- Signed on any phone with no account
- Every agent's contract checked against your offer

![Ticket Fairy contract panel for a performer agreement in draft, with who signs, a detail still to fill in, the differences from your usual terms and the clauses](https://www.ticketfairy.com/embeds/posters/marketing-event-contracts--draft.png)

## Start Every Contract From the Deal You Already Agreed

Nobody retypes a fee or a date. Choose who the contract is with, an accepted offer, a performer or speaker, an approved trader, a supplier, a crew member or someone else, pick the record, and Fai fills in the fee, dates, venue and terms from it. You check everything before it goes, and the contract starts from your own template for that kind of agreement.

A music event drafts performance agreements, a conference drafts speaker agreements, a food festival drafts trader agreements and a production team drafts supplier and crew agreements. Your own contract templates are your usual terms, and plain-English starters for performance, speaker, trader, supplier and crew agreements give you a place to begin if you have none yet.

- **From your deals**: an offer, a booking, a trader, a supplier or a crew member
- **Filled in by Fai**: fee, dates, venue and terms from the record you pick
- **Your contract templates**: your usual terms, with starters to make your own

## Catch Unusual Wording and Risky Clauses Before Anyone Signs

Fai compares every draft with your usual terms and lists each clause that is new, worded differently or missing, so nothing slips in unread. She also flags the clauses that carry risk for your event, such as a radius clause, a cancellation term or an exclusivity line, with the clause itself and the reason it needs a look, so your lawyer starts from the terms that matter.

Anything still unknown waits under Fill in before sending, such as a set time or a balance date, and the contract cannot go out until it is filled in or its clause is removed. Change the wording only where this deal is different, and See it as they will shows the finished agreement exactly as the other side gets it.

Your lawyer and your team decide every term. Fai points out what to question and why, and the contract changes only when you change it.

- **Compared with your usual terms**: new, reworded and missing clauses named
- **Risky clauses**: radius, cancellation and exclusivity, with the reason
- **Fill in before sending**: every detail the agreement still needs
- **See it as they will**: the finished agreement before it goes

## Get It Signed on Any Phone Without an Account

Send the contract by email with a note above the link, and the other side reads it, ticks to agree and signs by entering their name, on a phone or a computer. A performer also finds it on their advance page, and their agent or manager can sign on their behalf. If something is not right, they tell you what to change and the contract shows as declined, so you know where it stands.

A contract still waiting gets a reminder with a fresh link to the same agreement, and when one has waited for a while, Fai suggests the reminder on Today for you to approve. The agreement is locked once it is sent, so what they sign is exactly what you sent.

- **Send for signature**: one email with a link and your note
- **Signed by name**: no account to make before signing
- **On their behalf**: an agent or manager signs for the act
- **Reminders**: a new link, or Fai's suggestion on Today

- [Send your event contracts and get them signed online](https://www.ticketfairy.com/guides/send-contracts-and-get-them-signed-online)

![Ticket Fairy signing page for a performance agreement, with the agreement, the tick to agree and the name to sign with](https://www.ticketfairy.com/embeds/posters/marketing-event-contracts--signing-page.png)

## Countersign and Keep a Record Both Sides Can Trust

When the contract is ready for your signature, sign it the same way and both of you get the signed copy by email. Each signature is recorded with the name, the time, the IP address and the browser, and the contract's history shows every step from draft to signed by both, so the question of who agreed what never needs digging out of an inbox.

Deals move after the paperwork goes out, and the record stays intact. Change a contract that is sent or declined by making a new version, so the old one can no longer be signed. Add an amendment to a signed contract, or a termination agreement to end it early, and the signed contract stays exactly as it was. A cancelled contract stays on record with your reason.

- **Signed by both**: the signed copy emailed to each side
- **Signature record**: name, time, IP address and browser
- **Amendments and new versions**: changes that never touch what was signed

![Ticket Fairy contract panel for a performer agreement signed by the other party, with Sign it, their signature and the contract history](https://www.ticketfairy.com/embeds/posters/marketing-event-contracts--ready-for-your-signature.png)

## Send the Same Agreement to a Whole Line-Up at Once

A festival with a full line-up or a market with a field of traders needs the same agreement for everyone, each with its own name, fee and dates. Choose performers and speakers, traders or suppliers, tick the people and pick one template, and each contract fills in from that person's own booking or record, with their fee in its own currency.

You see every contract before anything is made, with the person, their fee and anything missing. A person with no email address, or a contract that still needs details such as a set time, is kept as a draft for you to finish, and people who already have a contract start unticked. Approve once and every ready contract goes out in your name, with your own subject and message if you add them, and a second tap never sends a contract twice.

The contracts are made and sent while you carry on. Each batch lists every person as sent, kept as a draft, may not have arrived or not made, with the reason, and Try again reaches the people a batch missed with the same template.

- **Send several**: performers and speakers, traders or suppliers
- **Every contract checked**: person, fee and anything missing
- **Contracts made together**: each person's result and the reason

## Check an Agent's Own Contract Against Your Offer

For every act you book, the agent sends their own contract, a deposit invoice and a rider or two, spread across weeks of email. Fai finds each file in the mailboxes connected to your brand, says what it is and sets their contract beside your offer in plain words: the fee, the deposit and when it is due, the balance date, the show date, the set length and the cancellation terms, each marked Matches or Different.

Ask the agent to fix a difference before you sign, then upload the countersigned copy and the offer is marked as contracted. A file that came another way takes one step to add, and Fai works out what it is. Confirm each file, change what it is or set it aside, and only the files you confirm are used. When the agent sends a new version, it replaces the earlier one and says what changed, and the earlier one is kept.

Every act shows one next step, such as countersigning their contract, until it says All done, so a festival with forty acts knows exactly whose paperwork is still open.

- **Found in your mailbox**: the files each act's agent sends
- **Compared with your offer**: fee, deposit, due dates, show date, set length and cancellation
- **Next step for every act**: what to do next, until the act is all done

- [Handle the contract, invoice and riders an artist's agent sends for your event](https://www.ticketfairy.com/guides/handle-the-contract-invoice-and-riders-an-agent-sends-back)

## Turn the Agent's Invoice and Riders Into Payments and Advance Answers

Fai reads the agent's invoice for what it is for, the amount and currency, the due date, the invoice number and who to pay. Add it to payments due and the act's deposit, balance or fee takes those details, so your budget and the show's settlement read the same figure. Send a confirmed technical or hospitality rider to the act's advance, and each part waits there as an answer to accept.

A deposit invoice shows on the fee you already owe, so it is never counted twice, and a newer invoice for the same payment replaces the earlier one. A newer rider says what changed from the last one before you send it again, so your production team works from what the act asked for this year. If the agreed terms differ from the act's booking, put them on the booking and its history keeps the old values.

- **Read by Fai**: amount, due date, invoice number and who to pay
- **Add to payments due**: the deposit, balance or fee with the invoice's details
- **Send to the advance**: each part of the rider as an answer to accept

## Give Every Performer, Trader and Crew Member Their Own Pack

Make one pack for each kind of contact, from a performer welcome pack, a trader pack, a crew pack or a supplier pack, and send it to all of them in one step. Each person opens their own pack from a private link with no account: your site rules and map beside their own day sheet, their contract with its status and signed copy, and their rider.

Each person gets an email from you with their own link and no attachments, and anyone without an email address is listed so you can share their link in a message app or let them scan its QR code at the gate. Change a day sheet or a contract later and every pack shows the new version the next time it is opened, with no second email.

Who got the pack shows every person as sent, may not have arrived or not sent, with when they opened it. Send again goes only to the people who may not have it, and you can stop one person's link at once if it reached the wrong hands.

- **Common packs**: performer, trader, crew and supplier packs to start from
- **No sign-in**: their own pack from their own link
- **Who got the pack**: sent, opened and may not have arrived
- **Link or QR code**: for the person who never reads email

## How Organisers Get Their Paperwork Done With Ticket Fairy

- ### A Festival With a Full Line-Up

The booker sends the performance agreement to every booked act in one batch, each with its own fee and dates. Two acts with no email address are kept as drafts, and the rest are signed on phones within the week.
- ### A Promoter Booking Through Agents

Fai finds the agent's contract in the promoter's mailbox and marks the deposit date Different from the offer. The promoter asks the agent to fix it before signing, then uploads the countersigned copy and the offer is marked as contracted.
- ### A Conference With Forty Speakers

Speaker agreements go out from one template, and each speaker gets a pack with the venue map, their own session day sheet and their signed contract. The team sees who has opened theirs before the rehearsal day.
- ### A Food Festival With a Field of Traders

Every approved trader gets their trader agreement and a trader pack with the site rules and arrival notes. A trader who lost the email scans the QR code at the gate and has everything on their phone.
- ### A Headline Booking With a Tough Contract

Fai flags a radius clause that would block the promoter's own show in a nearby city. The promoter's lawyer starts from that clause, and the agreed amendment is signed without touching the original.

## Questions About Contracts and E-Signature

### Contracts & e-signature

#### Who can make and send contracts?

You need an owner, admin or producer role on the event, and you work from Contracts on its Operations page. Fai can draft, send, remind, countersign and amend for you, and nothing is emailed or signed until you agree.

#### How long does the signing link work?

For 30 days. A reminder sends a new link to the same agreement, and Fai suggests one on Today when a contract has waited 5 days for a signature.

#### Can someone sign on the performer's behalf?

Yes. Choose their agent or manager from the performer's advancing contacts, or someone else with their email and name. The signed copy says who signed on whose behalf.

#### Can I cancel a contract after both sides signed?

A signed contract stays as it is. Make an amendment to change it, or give the amendment a termination title and clauses to end it early.

#### Are the starter templates or Fai's clause flags legal advice?

No. The starters are a plain-English starting point, and Fai points out clauses to check and why. Check them with your own lawyer, who decides with your team what to accept.

#### How many contracts can I send at once?

Up to 300 in one batch, to booked performers and speakers, approved traders or suppliers linked to the event. Each needs an email address to get theirs by email; without one, theirs is kept as a draft.

#### Can I send several contracts from accepted offers?

No. An agent sends back their own contract for an offer, so make that contract from the offer one at a time, or check the agent's own contract in Agent paperwork.

#### Can I sign an agent's own contract online?

Not their own PDF. Sign it the way you usually do, then upload the signed copy as a PDF or a photo of up to 25 MB, and the offer is marked as contracted.

#### What if no mailbox is connected?

Agent paperwork says Fai cannot check email, and you add each file yourself. Fai checks connected mailboxes every hour and reads only emails from each act's agent or contacts, as information only, never as instructions.

#### How long does a pack link work, and how many people can get one?

A pack link works for 1 to 120 days, and 30 days is filled in first. You can send a pack to up to 500 people at a time, a pack holds up to 30 parts and an event can have up to 50 packs.
