# Fill the arena from your stream

You announce the on-sale live on stream, and your stream's link counts every order it brings in. Players sign up on your own form.

  [Get started free](https://manage.ticketfairy.com/registration) [Book a demo](https://www.ticketfairy.com/event-ticketing/book-a-demo)

Fai, your AI teammate, can check sales, update your event or change a ticket when you ask.

Your Tracking Links table counts the 737 orders each link brought in: 412 from your own stream, 168 from a co-streamer, 96 from a team's banner and 61 from your newsletter.

- Your stream and your streamers sell tickets you can count.
- Players sign up on your form, and each one you accept gets a named ticket.
- Spectator passes and merchandise sell in one checkout.

## Sell spectator passes and merchandise together

You start your tournament from the Convention template. You rename its weekend, day and VIP passes for your spectators, such as Weekend spectator and Finals day.

The template puts a name on every ticket, so each spectator's pass carries their own name. Team jerseys and peripheral bundles sell as add-ons in the same checkout, offered only with the spectator passes they belong to. Passes release in tiers that open as the one before sells out, so your earliest fans get the best price.

A weekend pass suits fans who follow the whole bracket. A finals-day pass brings in the casual fan who wants the matches that decide the tournament. A one-day tournament keeps the day pass and drops the weekend pass. Sports tournaments such as a football or basketball cup sell tickets the same way. Each merchandise add-on can be limited to the spectator passes it belongs with, so players on the Player ticket type are never offered merchandise meant for the crowd.

With a name on every pass, your door team spots a pass that changed hands. With face-value resale on your own event page, a fan who cannot come passes their seat to another fan. The new fan gets a pass in their own name, and the old code stops working at your doors.

- **Convention template**: weekend, day and VIP passes to rename
- **Named passes**: each spectator's own name on their pass
- **Merchandise add-ons**: jerseys and bundles sold with the pass
- **Tournament website**: the schedule, news and FAQs, with spectator passes on sale on the page

## Let players sign up, and pick your field

A sign-up form on your event asks for each player's gamer tag, team name and game, and a team captain can add a section for every member of the team.

Every sign-up arrives in one list, and you accept or decline each one with the email you chose. Each player you accept gets a ticket in their own name on a Player ticket type that never appears on your public event page.

Every player hears whether they made the field, because every form starts with an email question and your decision email goes to that address. An invited or free field suits a hidden Player ticket type that you send yourself. For an open bracket with an entry fee, the Player ticket type stays on sale. Each player pays for their own place at checkout, and your field fills without an invoice in sight.

Each player's ticket carries their own name and a barcode for the door, and you can see which players you have sent tickets to. Press and guest casters get their tickets the same way on a spectator pass. You count everyone who comes through the door against the right ticket type.

- **Sign-up forms**: gamer tags, teams and games in one list
- **Hidden player places**: never shown to spectators
- **Player tickets**: each with the player's own name

[Private sales & presales](https://www.ticketfairy.com/features/private-sales-and-presales) [Guest lists & comps](https://www.ticketfairy.com/features/guest-lists-and-comps)

You accept Team Nova and Kestrel and decline Blue Fox. Team Nova's 5 players each get a Player ticket in their own name.

## See how many tickets your stream sells

A tracking link for your channel goes in your stream panel and chat. The Tracking Links table shows clicks, orders and ticket revenue.

Co-streamers and partners can each have a link. You can announce the on-sale on stream and reward fans who bring friends with cash back and prizes. Social and Ads are available only to Ticket Fairy staff while network API approvals are pending.

A tracking link works for your own channel, a partner's banner or a newsletter: it counts the sales and pays nobody. When a creator should earn from what their viewers buy, you can invite them to your sales team with a promoter link. You see every ticket their viewers buy beside your own channels.

Fans can register on your event page and buy before the public on-sale. Each buyer gets a referral link and earns back part of their ticket price as friends buy. Social and Ads are available only to Ticket Fairy staff while network API approvals are pending.

- **Tracking links**: clicks, orders and revenue for each stream
- **Scheduled on-sale**: your page goes public the minute you announce
- **Referral rewards**: cash back and prizes for bringing friends
- **Instant ticket links**: fans who comment, message or reply to your story get the link

## Find the streamers already coming to your tournament

Some of your spectators stream to audiences of their own. The Gaming report lists the Twitch channel of each paying buyer who connected Twitch, with its followers, views and partner status and the biggest channel first.

You can offer the ones who fit your tournament a promoter link or a guest ticket in return for a shout-out on stream.

Each buyer who connects Twitch adds their channel to the report, so it is worth checking just before an announcement or a final release. You can sort it, search it and copy the table into a spreadsheet. Your marketing team gets an outreach list of creators who already want to be there.

Demographics show the age bands of your buyers, and your brand's Geographics report shows the cities they come from. You see whether a regional qualifier draws the local scene or fans from across the country. Your next venue and your ad budget can follow where your fans really live.

- **Gaming report**: the Twitch channels of your paying buyers
- **Partner status**: which channels are Twitch partners
- **Promoter links**: the tickets each streamer's viewers buy

[Audience insights](https://www.ticketfairy.com/features/audience-insights) [Promoters & sales teams](https://www.ticketfairy.com/features/promoters-and-sales-teams)

Your Gaming report puts the biggest channels among your buyers first: KiraPlays, a Twitch partner with 48,200 followers, then NoxTV with 21,500 and JunoLive with 9,800.

## Give teams, casters and crew their passes

Team staff, casters and production crew each get a pass type, and each pass scans at the same doors as a ticket without taking one from your allocation.

With accreditation, a pass opens only the zones and days you choose, and your staff gate checks each pass in and out. Outside teams, such as a production company or a team organization, name their own people for the passes you give them.

A multi-entry pass lets team staff and casters go in and out between matches, up to the number of uses you set. Your door team scans passes and tickets in the same app. A team organization that brings its coach, analyst and manager names them from its own link. You see who is still missing a name before the doors open.

Your staff gate refuses a pass for the wrong zone or day and shows the reason. You see who is inside each zone, so you know a team's coach is in the players' area before their match. With approval rules, each request for a production pass goes to the person who signs it off.

- **Multi-entry passes**: for team staff, casters and crew
- **Zones**: the players' area and production desk, only where needed
- **Outside teams**: their own people named for passes

[Accreditation](https://www.ticketfairy.com/event-operating-system/accreditation) [Guest lists & comps](https://www.ticketfairy.com/features/guest-lists-and-comps)

Each pass opens only its own zones: team staff go in and out of the players' area between matches, casters reach the stage on finals day, production works from its desk every day, and the staff gate refuses a pass for the wrong zone.

## Check players and spectators in fast

Your door team scans passes on their own phones with the Entry Fairy app, and Fai can tell you how many people are in and whether a player has arrived.

Each person signs in with their own Door Staff login, so every admission carries a name. On the day, the check-in report counts players apart from spectators, so you know how many players are in before the first match. Walk-up spectator passes sell from the same app the door team scans with. You can undo a scan made by mistake.

A Door Staff login opens the scanning app and nothing else in your dashboard. A volunteer on the door never sees your sales or your players' details. When a ticket is refused, the reason shows on the phone and in your dashboard. Your desk team sorts out a player with the wrong ticket without holding up the queue.

Walk-ups pay with cash, or with a card, Apple Pay or Google Pay tapped on your team's compatible Android phone, and their passes count in the same check-in report. Hourly arrivals show when the crowd peaks, so next year you open the doors and staff the merchandise stand at the right time. Your sales, arrivals and players stay on the same event, so your debrief after the finals starts from one set of figures.

- **Door Staff logins**: the scanning app and nothing else
- **Players counted apart**: arrivals by ticket type
- **Door sales**: walk-up passes from the same app

## How you can use Ticket Fairy for your esports and gaming events

- ### A LAN party weekend

A LAN party sells weekend passes with a seat at the tables and a hidden Player ticket type for invited teams.

Players are counted apart from visitors at the door, and the LAN party organizers know every station is filled before the first match.
- ### A university league final

A student league takes team sign-ups on a form with every member's gamer tag, accepts the qualified teams and sends each player a named ticket.

Free spectator passes still give every guest a barcode for the door.
- ### A fighting game open bracket

A community tournament sells competition entries with the Player ticket type on sale at the entry fee, so players register by buying their place.

Each streamer in the community gets a tracking link, and the table shows which stream brought in the most entrants.
- ### Arena finals for a publisher

A publisher's finals sell weekend, finals-day and VIP passes in release tiers, with jerseys as add-ons, and team organizations name their own staff for passes.

The production company's crew get passes for the production desk only.
- ### A free community cup

A community card game tournament runs on Ticket Fairy with free spectator seats and a free hidden Player ticket type, and every guest still has a barcode for the door.

Volunteers on the door sign in with their own Door Staff logins, and the tournament organizer asks Fai how many players are in before calling the first round.
- ### A gaming convention recruiting streamers

A gaming convention sorts its Gaming report by followers and offers the biggest channels promoter links. Their viewers buy through the links, and the team sees which stream sold the most tickets before planning next year's creator deals.

## Esports & gaming: your questions about Ticket Fairy

### Esports & gaming

#### Can players pay an entry fee?

Yes. The Player ticket type is priced at your entry fee and stays visible, so each player buys their own place at checkout. A hidden Player ticket type suits a free or invited field, where you send each place yourself.

#### How do I register a whole team at once?

The sign-up form asks for the team name and every member's gamer tag. Once you accept the team, their tickets go out on the Player ticket type. One email address receives every ticket in a batch, so send each player their own when they arrive separately.

#### Do team staff and casters need a ticket as well as a pass?

No. A multi-entry pass scans at the same door as a ticket and lets its holder in and out up to its most uses. It does not take a ticket out of your allocation.

#### Which streamers will I see among my ticket buyers?

You see every buyer with a paid order who connected Twitch when they bought. The followers, views and partner status are the figures Twitch gave at that moment, so open the channel to check its current following. The report shows ten channels a page.

#### Does a tracking link pay the streamer who shares it?

No. A tracking link counts clicks, orders and revenue and pays nobody. To reward a streamer for the tickets their viewers buy, you can add them to your sales team with a promoter link.

#### Does the follower-only presale need Instagram?

Fans can register on your event page before the public on-sale. Social and Ads are available only to Ticket Fairy staff while network API approvals are pending.

#### How do players find out whether they made the field?

Every sign-up form asks for an email address, and the question cannot be removed. When you accept or decline a sign-up, the email you chose goes to that address, and an accepted player then receives their named ticket.

#### Can a spectator who cannot come pass their pass on?

Yes, when you turn on face-value resale. The new holder gets a pass in their own name and the old code stops working. Outside India, each resale carries a 10% resale fee, charged separately to the seller's original card. The seller gets the ticket price back in full.

#### Does Fai change anything without asking?

No. Fai answers questions such as how many players are in. She drafts emails and changes for a member of your team to approve, change or turn down before anything is saved or sent.

#### Does scanning work without a signal?

No. The Entry Fairy app needs an internet connection to scan tickets, so a quick check of the connection at each entrance before the doors open saves a queue.

#### Can I sell tickets to a virtual esports event?

Yes. For a virtual esports event or an online qualifier, you create an online event and add your Twitch or YouTube stream code. Each ticket has its own watch link that stays with the buyer, and viewers can donate while they watch.

#### Can one tournament cover several games on PC and console?

Yes. The sign-up form can ask for each player's game and platform, such as PC or console, and each answer gets its own column in the list. A Player ticket type for each game covers games that each have their own entry fee or number of places.

#### Can I use Ticket Fairy for a card game or sports tournament?

Yes. A card game, basketball, football or other sports tournament sells spectator passes and player places the same way. Any competition with entrants and an audience can take sign-ups on a form and sell tickets from one event.

#### How do walk-ups pay at the door?

In cash on any phone that runs the scanning app, or by tapping a card, phone or watch on a compatible Android phone. Taps work when your payment processing account is in a country where [tap to pay](https://www.ticketfairy.com/event-operating-system/front-of-house/cashless-and-wristbands) works, your event's venue is in that same country, and your business address or the venue's address is complete.
