Compound is a FREE one-day outdoor block party, taking place outside Monstercat HQ in Railtown (380 Railway St) on August 20th, 2022. Compound is a celebration of the local Vancouver community, providing a platform for local companies and performers alike.This block party features two stages of music, art installations, live art, apparel, food trucks, beer gardens, gaming and more! This is an all-ages event, with something for everyone to enjoy.

 

 

Monstercat artists confirmed to headline the Main Stage include Vancouver Island’s own DJ and producer WHIPPED CREAM, Vancouver-born downtempo producer Sol Rising, and French bass house producer Dustycloud. These artists and more will rock the Main Stage presented by Sapporo, plus the best underground sounds will champion the Westwood Stage powered by Pioneer DJ. The full line-up of artists headlining the Main Stage include:

New this year on the Main Stage will also include an opening performance from Monstercat Mix Contest Champions: Duality, Ethani, OREONIC, Rocketman, and more surprise guests.

 

The Westwood Stage welcomes Akylla, RUMPUS, Jessu & Pyka, Zodiac, Fort Knox Five, Khanvict and DJ New Girl.

 

Visitors will also be able to take in some of Vancouver’s best local offerings including diverse food trucks, spacious beer garden, notable street artists creating live on the grounds, the return of the Monstercat Street Piano created by Roland Sound and Monstercat’s own design team, an air-brushed tattoo station by JCI, and the return of the gaming zone by The Gaming Stadium.

 

The festivities will take place at Monstercat HQ, 380 Railway Street, Vancouver on Saturday, August 20, 2pm to 9pm, and will stretch down Railway and Dunlevy streets. Details about the full lineup and additional on-site activations can also be found at Monstercat.com/compound.
