The wonderful world of Bestival was born out of ten fun years of pioneering music events and record releases from renowned music specialist, Rob da Bank’s Sunday Best empire.
The Bali edition of Bestival will take place in a truly mind-blowing venue, Garuda Wisnu Kencana (GWK) Cultural Park which hosts one of the largest artistic masterpieces ever created in Indonesia – the world’s biggest statue of Garuda Wisnu as its centerpiece.
With breathtaking vistas across Bali’s tropical landscape, and with over 240 acres of parkland centered around 25-meter high limestone carved cliffs, this stunning venue will host some of the biggest international acts and local talent over 2 days of fun and music, food and merry mayhem.

Garuda Wisnu Kencana Cultural Park (shortened to GWK) is in the far south of Bali island. Several huge music shows have been held there, including Iron Maiden and Paramore, both in 2011.
