Café Ale + Suzanne Kraft

Suzanne Kraft makes his return to LA with a dedicated listening session alongside dublab’s Café Ale.
Suzanne Kraft is the solo moniker of Los Angeles-born DJ Diego Herrera, who is also a member of neo-disco group Pharaohs. While the 12″ EPs produced under the Kraft moniker tend to be lush, dancefloor-centric deep house and disco, his full-lengths are more experimental, incorporating acoustic guitars and drifting away from rhythmic structures. His latest album About You on Melody As Truth explores shoegaze and indie pop inspired sounds.

Alejandro Cohen is a musician and composer from Los Angeles, California, and the executive director of DUBLAB. Over the last two decades, Cohen has released music under numerous projects and groups including Languis and Pharaohs. He’s composed music for TV shows, documentaries and educational materials, and recorded more than two hundred solo artists and bands as a sound engineer and consultant for dublab, KPFK 90.7 FM, Sony/Columbia and the Society for the Activation of Social Space Through Art and Sound (SASSAS).
