🚨 IMPORTANT SHOW UPDATE – PLEASE READ 🚨

Tomorrow night’s CUE THE BASS show at Sam’s Place (125 Main St, Ames) is still ON and we’re coming in louder, safer, and more energized than ever.

However, we want to be fully transparent with our community: due to recent online discourse and personal concerns, our original headliners Orbiix and Azassin have made the decision to step down from the show.

We recognize that any concern about safety at our shows is serious. Whether past or present — we hear you. We care. And we’re making changes.

Starting TOMORROW:

- Signs will be clearly posted at the venue that will explain how you can report any kind of sexual harassment or misconduct.

- All Basswave Staff, Security, and “Gremlins” (promo team) will be wearing official Basswave lanyards — they’ve been trained to respond quickly, discreetly, and seriously to all safety concerns.

- Sexual harassment of any kind will never be tolerated at any Basswave show. We are here to create a safe, inclusive, and respectful space for everyone.  
- An anonymous survey link is available for people to give honest feedback regarding our shows.

With that said… We’ve locked in a heavy-hitting lineup, a full-blown sound system, & a lighting experience ready to shake the floor until 2AM!
