PLF Presents: Decemberween 2023

DECEMBERWEEN 💥 IS 💥 BACK!!

This time, and for the first time ever, we are celebrating MULTIPLE laps around the sun and ringing in the New Year(s) with a huge serving of community, creativity, bass, fire spinning, special performances, art installations, dancing, and priceless memory making. 

Do you still have your ticket from 2022?  DO NOT WORRY!  All valid tickets from last year will be honored for this years event.  Simply bring your ticket and your ID to the gate. 

PLF is so thankful for the support our team received while overcoming the most unique and difficult hurdle we have ever encountered in the wake of last years postponement. We will be monitoring the pandemic closely and will be proceeding in as safe a manner as possible so that we can finally bring this reunion to fruition.  

ALL attendees are asked to bring a mask to wear indoors, to take a test before the event, and to stay home if you are not well or if there is any chance that you may be carrying COVID or any other infectious illness.

Each ticket includes full entry to our entire roster of entertainment, complimentary drink tickets, a keepsake Photobooth print, and local artist-made PLF swag gifts!

B. A MASK to be worn indoors;

C. Your valid Photo ID / Passport, which should match the name on your ticket.

IMPORTANT PSA's:

📌 DO NOT PARK IN THE DIVERSITY PARKING LOT.  You will be towed.  There is a large lot near the venue and plenty of street parking. 
 
📌 Please, DON'T DRINK AND DRIVE.  We will have a bunch of non-alcoholic options.  Drink responsibly if you decide to partake.
 
📌 NO LIQUIDS OF ANY KIND will be permitted through the gate.  You CAN bring an EMPTY water bottle to fill up inside.  There are water fountains near the bathrooms and water coolers at the libation stations.
 
📌 ALL bags are subject to being checked.  Only small bags and purses will be permitted.  (Artist prop and performance bags will be permitted but are subject to being searched.)
 
📌 NO WEAPONS OF ANY KIND.  This includes any costume props that our security team or Gate crew determines to be weaponry.
 
📌 NO ILLEGAL SUBSTANCES OF ANY KIND.
 
📌 Z E R O tolerance for racism, homophobia, transphobia, sexism, ableism, or ANY form of discrimination.  NO HATE SPEECH OR HATE GROUP ATTIRE ALLOWED  (patches, t-shirts, hats, etc.)
 
📌 CONSENT IS THE LAW OF THE LAND.

Every PLF event has a ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY for consent violations of ANY kind.  Touching or kissing without asking (hugs included), coercion/pressuring someone in any way, stalking or any sort of harassment, AND SO ON will NOT be tolerated.  
Event organizers reserve the right to use their own discretion and ask you to leave if informed that you are making someone feel uncomfortable.

📌 We will have a Sanctuary area for those who need it.  Please ask an organizer or staff and we will direct you to its location.
 
📌 We value creating safer celebratory spaces and encourage everyone to NOT BE AN ASS.  Violence, aggression, instigation, fighting, or over-the-top tomfoolery will lead to a boot.
 
📌 This event is 21 to drink and 18 to experience the party.  It is geared towards 21+ humans.  No minors.  Alcohol will be provided at our Libation Stations.  You must visit the Drink Ticket Station (cash and card accepted) before being served at the bar.  This is NOT BYOB.
 
📌 This is a rain, shine, or postponed event.  Tickets to attend our non-profit run fundraising events, such as Decemberween, are considered donations to our organization and are not applicable for a refund, regardless of postponement status.

📌 Coat racks will be provided at the entrance, but will not be staffed.  Use them at your own discretion.  The venue and organizers are not responsible for items left unattended.  Don’t steal people’s stuff, though.
 
📌 Last call for alcohol will be at 1:30 am.  All drinks must be finished by 2 am sharp.  The party goes til 4 am, but drinking ends at 2!

🔥 ATTN: FIRE PERFORMERS! 🔥

- If you are an experienced fire spinner who wishes to join in the Pyro Circus fire circle during the event, you must attend a Safety Meeting.
- Mandatory Safety Meetings will take place by the Fuel Depot behind the Pyro Circus Stage promptly at ***8:30pm, 10:30pm, and 12:30am.***
- Please be on time for the safety meeting of your choosing. You may only spin *after* you obtain a fire wristband and sign our fire waiver at a designated meeting.
- The Pyro Circus Stage will be open to those who have checked in at a Safety Meeting at 9pm. It will close from 12:45-1:15am for a special performance, and then will reopen for the remainder of the night.
- Safety Manager volunteers are in charge while they are on duty. The Pyro Circus Stage Lead is Kristen Marie.
- Further details will be covered at the safety meetings.
- We have all the fuel dump supplies covered, but we are graciously accepting fuel donations if anyone would like to bring a can.
