The legendary [Taxman](https://www.facebook.com/TaxmanOfficial) makes his Boston debut and we're ready for a dose of his signature dubwise sub-slamming weapons. Taxman and his brother Original Sin discovered at an early age they both shared the rare gift of synaesthesia and a proclivity for music creation. It's no surprise that DJing became integral to the young Taxman's life, and, of course, production was the next logical step. It took painstaking graft – trying out a music production course, quitting the course, followed by lots of sitting in studios watching, learning, and practising – before he created something he was happy with. And that quality control has been an benchmark for everything that was to follow.

“The Rebate”, his first release on G Dub's Propaganda Recordings, established him as one to watch, garnering airplay on Grooverider's renowned BBC Radio 1 show. Then, catching the eye of DJ Hype and being invited to join the Playaz camp was the mark of approval that turned Taxman into a internationally-recognised name.

A volley of anthemic, gritty, rolling tunes over the following years, like “Too Bad”, “Original Ninja”, and “Dreamland”, culminated in the expanded panoramas of 2014's “Synthetic Visions” album. Combining hues of liquid, soul, and complex melodic structures with the dancefloor rinse-out material he'd become known for, this was Taxman's musicality brought to the fore.

Recently, between worldwide deejay gigs and extensive studio time, he's taken on the new challenge of teaching masterclasses as part of the Planet Drumz Academy, where he's passing on his experience to a new generation of DnB producers.
