KINKY Bio:
Kinky is an internationally acclaimed Grammy-nominated Mexican electronic rock band formed in Monterrey, Mexico, known for their unique blend of rock, funk, and electronic dance music with Latin influences. Formed in 1998 and evolving into a five-piece group with members Gilberto Cerezo, Ulises Lozano, Carlos Chairez, Omar Gongora, and Cesar Pliego, Kinky gained global recognition after winning the Battle of the Bands at the 2000 Latin Alternative Music Conference (LAMC). Their self-titled debut album, released in 2002, achieved critical and commercial success, supported by a Nissan Altima commercial spot and leading to worldwide performances and a devoted international following.
