#### Join us the weekend of December 30 & 31 (2023') for a multi-tier event that should be fun for all sorts of people. There is a beach volleyball event, a Mega Beer Pong tournament, a life-sized (6ft) Jenga tournament, and great house music DJs every day, including Monday.

### For those interested in reserving a spot for our open bar and hand appetizers dinner on NYE hosted by executive Chef Jon Pflueger, *(now a local from the Todos Santos & Cerritos beach area),*you can purchase the "GOURMET GATHERING & OPEN BAR REGISTRATION".\*

HIGHPOCKETS   **Monday 1st (bar opens 9 am)** x   *\*FREE Access to anyone to come party and hang out with us!*   \**All tournaments are technically free since the small fee we're charging is actually a food and beverage credit. The purpose of this is to get people who are serious to sign up in advance and financially commit a small amount of money towards food and beverage, so we know who is serious about showing up and who isn't.*   We're really excited to have friend and **executive chef Jon Pflueger** in charge of our presentation on NYE. His resume is impressive. He has been globetrotting the world's culinary scene for almost 30 years. Whether it was running the signature dining room at the Ritz Carlton in Laguna Beach, the Star Of The Sea Room in La Jolla, or even re-vamping the legendary New York icon known as the Russian Tea Room (among many other impressive culinary accolades). His time training in France under the famed Michelin-star chefs Paul Bocuse and Georges Blanc paid dividends for his storied career.

### Here is what he is going to prepare for everyone on Sunday night Dec. 31:

#### HAND APPETIZERS options are:

- *​bacon-wrapped shrimp and pickled jalapeno skewers*
- *​tempura avocado, soy glazed daikon root and sesame aioli*
- *lamb piccadillo empanadas with mint pesto*
- *jicama tacos with crab, grapefruit, and avocado*
- *oysters on the half shell with cucumber pico de gallo*
- *baked chocolate clams, chorizo, black beans, roasted peppers, chiles and chicharron gratin*
- *spanish octopus, paprika, potato confit, and roasted garlic aioli*
- *tostaditas, tuna tartare, sriracha and sweet pea tendrils*

 **NOTE:**  
*The menu might have minor changes due to the seasonality of certain items.*  

## **TIMETABLE:** **Dinner and open bar**: 6 pm-9 pm (*champagne toast included at midnight for paid guests*).

 **Cash bar**: Before 6 pm (and after 9 pm) for those who have a ticket and for those who don't have a ticket, it's a cash bar at all times.

### King Of The Beach Tournament:

 **Start Time**: 11 am Saturday the 30th (one-day tournament; round-robin pool play).   
**Prizes**: trophies, merchandise, food, and beverages for 1st-3rd places.   
**Number Of Players**: 16.  

### Queen Of The Beach Tournament:

 **Start Time**: 1 pm Saturday the 30th (one-day tournament; round-robin pool play).   
**Prizes**: trophies, merchandise, food, and beverages for 1st-3rd places.   
**Number Of Players**: 8.  

### Mega Beer Pong Tournament:

 **Start time**: 2 pm Sunday the 31st (one-day tournament; roughly 1-2 hours total)   
**Prizes**: food, beverages, cash, and merchandise for 1st-3rd places   
**Number Of Players**: 8 (or 16 if the demand is strong enough).  

### Life-Sized Jenga Tournament:

 **Start time**: 4 pm Sunday the 31st (one-day tournament; roughly 1-2 hours total).   
**Prizes**: food, beverages, cash, and merchandise for 1st-3rd places.   
**Number Of Players**: 8 (or 16 if the demand is strong enough).
