--- title: "Billets pour NOTW presents: Gene Farris | Auckland | Neck Of The Woods - Ticket Fairy" description: "NOTW presents GENE FARRIS So where do we start?! Gene Farris lives and breathes house music. A bonafide Chicago legend, he’s been pushing musical boundaries for close to three decades, from spinning at underground warehouse parties in the early 90s to working with the current crop of world-leading labels and artists. Thanks to the last three years of COVID pandemic upheaval, it has been a looooooooooong time between drinks for us all here in Aotearoa with Gene's last visit to New Zealand way back in August 2019. But he's back... and house heads, we are in for a master class from the one of the greats. Toolroom, Relief, Dirtybird, Spinnin Deep, ViVa Music, Defected: all have released and championed Gene Farris records over the past few years, alongside his own Farris Wheel imprint: a fitting testament to the quality and relevance of the music he creates.
As a self-taught engineer and producer, his work with Cajual, Relief Records, Defected Records, Soma Recordings and his own breakout label Farris Wheel Recordings, propelled his influence into ever expanding realms. His catalogue is vast, varied and consistently inspired, with notable releases including We Work It on Farris Wheel, Nursery on Toolroom, Space Girl on Dirtybird, ‘Play’ on Snatch!, ‘LOL’ on Relief and 2015’s ‘Move Your Body’, which was one of the biggest club records of the year. Similarly impressive was Gene’s ‘Welcome To Chicago EP’, which after its release on Defected Records back in 2003, quickly became a cult classic. Support for this one comes from some of our faves - Scarlett, Dick Johnson, and Courtnee Leigh. The Ghost soundsystem has been tuned to perfection, and we are ready. HOUSE. MUSIC. ALL. DAMN. DAY. Let's go." canonical: "https://www.ticketfairy.com/event/notw-presents-gene-farris-30jun2023" --- # Billets pour NOTW presents: Gene Farris | Auckland | Neck Of The Woods - Ticket Fairy # NOTW presents: Gene Farris ## Informations sur l'événement | | | | --- | --- | | **Début** | vendredi 30 juin 2023 à 22:00 | | **Fin** | samedi 1 juillet 2023 à 04:00 | | **Lieu** | Neck Of The Woods, 155B Karangahape Road, Auckland, Auckland, 1010, NZ | | **Organisateur** | Neck of the Woods | | **Âge** | 18+ | | **Affiche** | | ## Billets | Billet | Prix | Disponibilité | | --- | --- | --- | | Early Birds | NZD 27.50 | Complet | **Acheter des billets:** vendredi 30 juin 2023 22:00 Neck Of The Woods, Auckland, Auckland Âges 18+ ![Affiche de NOTW presents: Gene Farris](https://www.ticketfairy.com/uploaded/thumbnails/db_file_img_83654_300xauto.jpg) Obtenir des billets | Early Birds Complet | | --- | | First Release NZ$33 (incl. frais) | **Les ventes de cet événement sont fermées.** **Vous avez un code promo ?
