During creative sessions, songs evolve with each member’s individual flavour, resulting in some amazing compositions and arrangements. Songs often go in interesting directions which again simply adds to the unique musical magic Paua creates. Founder and frontman Jay Thomas brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the band with his exceptional song writing abilities and impeccable vocal style, he believes that although most songs are inspired by a story, an experience or even the surrounding environment , some are a spontaneous and natural expression..
