On Saturday, May 16, CRANIA welcomes RUBINSKEE for a night rooted in house music, vinyl culture and the history of the Mexican electronic scene.

With more than two decades in electronic music, RUBINSKEE has built a sound that connects house, analog textures, Mexican sci-fi references and a deep instinct for the dancefloor. First known as a live act and later evolving naturally into DJ sets, his trajectory has passed through some of the most important spaces in the Mexican circuit, including Mutek, Day Zero, Bahidorá, Sunday Sunday and Funk Club.

Internationally, he has played at venues and platforms such as Golden Pudel Club in Hamburg, Sisyphos, Kong Munich, Social Club in Paris and Japan Music Week. His original music has been released on labels including Liebe Detail, Homage NYC, Love Unlimited Vibes and Departures.

Joining him is Farid Behe with a vinyl set. Active since 1997, Farid brings more than two decades of experience behind the decks, with a strong foundation in house music, deep house influences, heavy basslines and minimal house elements. His sets are immersive, warm and built with a refined understanding of the floor.

Opening the night is Kennedy María, a genre-blending DJ and jazz musician based between Mexico City and Baja California Sur, with roots in San Francisco. Her sound moves through psychedelic global jazz, minimal tech house, disco, funk and cumbia, bringing a soulful and high-energy selection to start the night.

This is a night for people who know that house music carries history.
A night for vinyl lovers, careful listeners and everyone who comes to CRANIA for music with depth.

We’re closer than you think — we’re located just outside San José del Cabo’s downtown (5 minutes), inside Puerto Los Cabos. The venue is only 15 minutes from Los Cabos International Airport, making it easy for both locals and international travelers.

 

Arriving is simple:

  • By car → we offer on-site parking right next to the venue.
  • By Uber or taxi → direct drop-off & pickup at our entrance.

 

                                                                                     

 

GOOD TO KNOW...

 

  • A valid photo ID is required at check-in / entry.
  • All guests must be 21 years or older and have valid identification.
  • There is no re-entry to the event once you exit the venue.
  • Last entry is 1 hour before the close of the event. Please see event listed times.
  • Outside alcohol is not permitted. 
  • No pets are allowed at the event
  • CRANIA nights are all about freedom — come as you are and wear whatever feels right, with respect to others. 
  • The venue’s fully open-air, so it can get hot in summer and cold in winter. Warm layers in the winter is the way to go.
  • We are near the beach. While CATE is on cement blocks, the walk-way there and around is made up of sand-terrain. We suggest to wear comfortable, closed-toe dancing shoes.
