That Weekend is a truly unique festival experience with an eclectic lineup of NZ’s finest artists playing multiple stages - all set in the beautiful native forest of the Okoroire Hot Springs Hotel.

The first of its kind in Aotearoa, ‘That Weekend’ is a fresh, multi-sensory festival in the South Waikato, that combines hot spring spas, a 9 hole golf course, tennis courts, art installations, an array of food & beverage stalls and a mix of NZs leading surf rock, hip hop, house, funk and DnB.

The two day camping festival has all the ingredients of a good time. Come and immerse yourself in a full weekend of entertainment in one of the finest spots Aotearoa has to offer.

*CHALET HOTEL EXPERIENCE

There are a very limited number of in-festival chalets available for hire situated right in the middle of the festival.


All Chalet packages include:

- 1 King Bed + 2 Single Beds (enough room to sleep five people so bring your mattresses!)

- Personal Bathroom + Shower + Toilet

- Each room has it's own Spa

- 2 Day Festival Pass is included for 5 people.


These are extremely limited so get in quick!


*BUS PASSES

For those staying at mates or at AirBnB's there are busses running from the Matamata I-Site going via Tirau I-Site to and from the festival. These are $10 return and can also be purchased as an add-on to your original ticket!


PASS OUTS

The festival has a no pass out policy between the hours of 1.00PM - 11.30PM. If you leave the festival within these hours, you can’t come back in.

PARKING/PICK UP OR DROP OFF

Free festival car parking is available at the festival entry/exit point highlighted in the site map. Drop off area is highlighted at the day pass entry point also highlighted in the site map. .

HOT SPRING SPAS

$10 hot spring spa passes will be available from the camp office.

Spas will be open from 11.30am - 1pm Saturday, and 7am - 11.30am on Sunday, 7am - 11am Monday

GOLF COURSE

Opening hours: 11.30am - 6pm on Saturday, and 7am - 6pm on Sunday.

Golf passes will be available from the camp office. $15 for 1day (18holes) and $25 for 2day (36 holes). $10 sets of clubs will also be available for hire from the camp office.

Golf Warehouse spot prizes will be up for grabs for participants.

TENNIS COURT

Opening hours: 11.30am - 6pm on Saturday, and 7am - 6pm on Sunday.

Tennis courts are free of charge. We have spare tennis equipment at camp office

WAYVER

We will be using a cashless payment system at ‘That Weekend’. You can load up your Wayver cashless wristband online before the festival! Less time waiting and more time catching your fave act. Jump over to www.Wayver.co.nz with your ticket ID and select how much you want to top-up and you're good to go! Top up your wristbands anytime throughout the day to buy merch, drinks, food & activities. You can't miss the blue top up tents!

- A valid Passport, Drivers license or NZ 18+ card will be required upon entry

- Alcohol and other drugs not permitted. Items will be confiscated and entry will be denied.

- If you are intoxicated you will be denied entry

- Be ready for bag search on arrival

- Arrival early to avoid delays

DRUG TESTING

Drug testing will NOT be available at ‘That Weekend’.

Look after yourself in the lead up & on the day at the festival. Here is some key info to keep you safe on the day:

Avoid mixing drugs because of the potential of negative effects and overdose. including the mixing of different types of alcohol and mixing alcohol and other drugs.

Illegal drugs are unregulated. Don’t trust the source or the product, if you don’t know who you are buying from, you don’t know what you are buying. You can’t be sure of what you will be taking. Don’t risk it.

Remember to eat and drink plenty of water to stay hydrated

Stay with you mates Look out for each other and have a set place where you can meet if you get separated

CAMPING FAQS

Can I bring in a marquee?

You can bring in a small pop up gazebo as long as it goes over-top of your head

Are the campsites powered/ can I bring my own generator?
Unfortunately not

Am I allowed my campervan on site?

Unfortunately not

How big are the camping spots? What size am I allowed?

We don’t have set limits but if you are camping by yourself please don’t bring a ten person tent

Can I bring my own bottled water, non alcoholic drinks & snacks?

You may bring EMPTY reusable water-bottles to the festival. There are a number of FREE water refill stations

Can I sleep in my car/caravan?

No our campground is for tents only

Are there designated camping spots assigned to our tickets?

Nope! First in first serve. Come with your crew if you would like to camp by each other

Can I take my vehicle out whenever I want?

Yes but your vehicle will be searched again when you come back in

Can campers come and go between cars + campgrounds?

Yes but you will need to go through another search process on re-entry - please note there are no pass outs during the festival hours between 1pm - 11pm.

What facilities are in the campgrounds?

$5 showers will operate between 3pm - 7pm and 7am - 11am. Toilets & powder tent will also be provided

Can I bring alcohol into the campground?

No, the campground is not a BYO campground

What time do we have to be out of the campground on the 1st of Feb?

Campground will be closed 11am

Restaurant inside Hotel is only open between 7:00 am - 2 pm. Where it will be servicing bacon and Egg roll, Avo on toast and continental breakfast. From 2pm you can still order Loaded fries and bacon and egg rolls in Pub Bar.

COVID-19

At Alert Level 1 there are no longer restrictions on events or gathering sizes. This means large scale

events are allowed to take place.

• COVID-19 is contained at Alert Level 1, but it’s still worthwhile to keep a safe distance from people you

don’t know while out and about. Consider wearing a mask or face covering when physical distancing is

difficult.

• Do not attend an event if you are feeling unwell; please stay at home.

• If you begin to experience COVID-19 symptoms, don’t stick around, take yourself home. Contact Healthline

or your health professional who can advise whether you should be tested. If you are advised to get a test,

please do so; do not wait to get tested.

• Use the NZ COVID Tracer App to check in on all public transport (including buses and trains) or keep a

record of the times and route you took to get to the event.

• Sign in using the NZ COVID Tracer App upon arrival at the event and take note of your seat number/area

you were in. If you do not have the App, keep a record of when you arrived and left the event.

• Practice good hygiene by washing or sanitising your hands regularly, particularly upon entering and leaving

the event. Sneeze or cough into your elbow.
