      The Cold Stares are an American rock band originally from Western Kentucky, now based in Evansville, Indiana . Formed in 2012, they spent a decade as a powerhouse duo before expanding into a trio in 2022.       Musical Style & Genre  The band is best known for their gritty, authentic blend of blues rock, heavy rock, and Southern rock . Their sound is often described by its "sonic firepower" and storytelling lyrics, drawing heavy influence from their heritage in the American South.
