Having won NZ Music awards for Highest Selling Album (Holy Smoke) Single of the Year (“Black Sheep”) Best Female Solo Artist and Best Pop Album (Gravel & Wine), Gin Wigmore shows why she’s one of Aotearoa’s most beloved performers. The collaboration between veteran producer Haz Beats and soul-heavy vocalist/producer Miloux (Rebecca Melrose) is the perfect pairing of two boldly creative artists.Haz & Miloux’s sound incorporates elements from soul, jazz, r&b and hip hop, and can best be described as neo-soul. After coming together in 2018, Haz & Miloux went on to win the Aotearoa Music Award for Best Soul/RnB Artist Award in 2020, are twice short-listed Silver Scroll nominees, and have performed internationally to a loyal following. With a DJ career that spans almost 20 years, Bobby Brazuka (Latinaotearoa) has carved out a niche playing Latin and Latin-inspired music in Aotearoa. Growing up listening to Brazilian greats Jorge Ben, Tim Maia and Marcos Valle, Bobby infused his rich musical heritage into Auckland’s DJ culture, building a community around his Latin parties and earning himself a reputation as our unofficial Brazilian Music Ambassador. With over 3000 records from samba and bossa, to cumbia, soul and funk, Bobby’s extensive collection of rare 45’s and original pressings define his curated vinyl show.
