D1NZ KICKS OFF WITH A BANG! A DOUBLEHEADER EVENT TO GET THIS PARTY STARTED!

The Valvoline D1NZ National Drifting Championship will return to Taupo after 5 years away for an epic doubleheader event encompassing Rounds 1 + 2 for the Pro drivers on April 30 - May 1 2022. The season opener gives massive chances to get a head start on the leaderboard across two days, it’s a high-pressure, high result opportunity up for grabs.

​EVENT OPENING HOURS:

• Gates open at 10:00am both days.
• Friday is closed to the public.
• Saturday - Pro-Sport Competition Round 1, Pro Competition Round 1
• Sunday - Pro Competition Round 2 - please note there is no ProSport competition on Sunday. 

 

TICKET OPTIONS :

Tickets purchased online (available before the event only) are more cost-effective than at the gate

 

• Saturday Adult - GA $25.00 if purchased online (aged 15 and over, Pits are Accessible) – $30.00 at the gate.

• Sunday Adult - GA $25.00 if purchased online (aged 15 and over, Pits are Accessible) – $30.00 at the gate.

• Weekend Pass - Sat & Sun Pass Adult GA $40.00 if purchased online (aged 15 and over, Pits are Accessible) – $50.00 At the Gate

• Family Pass Saturday - General Admission (2 Adults & 3 Children under 15 years) $65.00 – $75.00 At the Gate

• Family Pass Sunday - General Admission (2 Adults & 3 Children under 15 years) $65.00 – $75.00 At the Gate

• Child GA, Saturday or Sunday - (Aged 8 - 14 years) $10.00 each day - same price at gate.

• Children under 7 FREE (GA areas only, excludes VIP & Pit-Access)

NOTE - Children aged under 15 years need to be accompanied by an adult

 

VIP Pass:

• VIP WEEKEND Pass $180.00 – Includes Saturday & Sunday access to VIP lounge, pits are accessible, VIP host with lunch & beverages each day.

• VIP SINGLE DAY Pass - SATURDAY ONLY $100.00 – Includes access to VIP lounge, pits are accessible, VIP host with lunch & beverages on Saturday. 

• VIP SINGLE DAY Pass - SUNDAY ONLY $100.00 – Includes access to VIP lounge, pits are accessible, VIP host with lunch & beverages on Sunday. 

 

Hard Park:

• For those who wish to bring their pride and joy, and park their car on display within the central area of the venue, you can add the $10 Hard Park option which covers both days. (For all others, parking is available without charge in another area of the venue)

Food & Beverages:

• There will be food and beverages available at the venue. 

• Alcohol will not be served to minors or intoxicated persons - ID required on request. You may bring a homemade picnic in a soft-chilly bag. 

• Commercial food is not allowed to be brought into the venue.

• Be Sun Smart:

• This is a fantastic event, however, you may be exposed to the sun or wind for an extended period, therefore we strongly encourage you to bring along sunscreen, sunglasses, a jacket, be prepared with a fillable bottle, and purchase a D1NZ hat at the merchandise stand.

Please Note - If COVID-19 Levels Change D1NZ will look to reshape the event or postpone the event and work with the venue and suppliers to complete the event at a later date, on the basis, the event is canceled, full refunds will be processed through ticket fairy.
