FIRE DRAGON DEN (bottom floor)

In the Hallway: Art Show and Live Painting by Blake Foster
“My intention is to inspire our infinite potential by expressing the ineffable. I aim to paint gateways that give glimpses of dimensions that may exist beyond the limits of our known senses. As a biological bundle of cosmic energy evolving to understand oneself, I seek to leave behind a visual narrative of our collective transformation and growth. I hope these visions help expose how interconnected and "one" we truly are, so that our kid’s kids may echo on through the ethers.” - Blake Foster

9:30pm: Mark Deutsch's Bazantar (Fusion)
Visionary artist and creator of the Bazantar, Mark Deutsch is both a classically trained bassist and sitarist with a background in non-linear mathematics and sacred systems. His eclectic life as a musician began at age twelve playing jazz standards in his father’s dance band. As a multiinstrumentalist, he progressed creatively through jazz/blues combos, the Avante Garde scene, solo sitar performance, as well as orchestral and world music ensembles. Presently his main focus is recording and performing with the Bazantar, giving workshops on improvisation, and lecturing on sound and music’s effects on physiology and consciousness.

Weaving between the Northeastern Brazilian community dance style Forró, Choro, Modern Brazilian music and originals, Reb K Brazilian Trio delights audiences with their playful virtuosity and creativity. 2am: DRMWVR (live electronic folk)
DRMWVR is a Santa Cruz based music producer, DJ, and multimedia visual artist. His creations blur the lines between many styles, cultures, and times. We also run a large Facebook group, World Folk Music and Dance (Bay Area), to help the community publicize its events.
