The donation will be used to cover the cost of transfering all the bikes on a seperate boat, as well as the Cargo Bike to and fro the island.

On August 30th, Blackout Agency teams up with Wild Pearl's Cargo Bike for the next adventure — this time, taking the ride off the mainland and onto the forgotten gem of St John’s Island for a day of sun, sea, and music on wheels.

Steeped in history, St John’s Island was once home to quarantine patients, new migrants, opium addicts, a prisoner-of-war camp during the Japanese occupation, and a prison for political detainees. Today, it remains one of Singapore’s most beautiful and untouched escapes.

We’ll be joined by the Wild Pearl crew and their iconic cargo bike to soundtrack a scenic loop around the island. On the decks will be The Beat Usagi, providing the perfect soundtrack to your island adventure. There’s no better way to explore this hidden treasure than by pedalling to the beat with a crew of riders. We are limiting this experience to only 30 riders for now. The ride will be an hour long from 4 - 5pm and there'll be a little something something after for everyone to hangout and enjoy. 

We recommend bringing your own bike — we’ll take care of transporting it from Marina South Pier to St John’s Island and back.

Please note: As there are no shops on the island, BYO food, snacks, and drinks for the entire duration of the trip.

  • If there’s an emergency on the island, inform us immediately. 🆘
  • Swimming - At your own risk. No lifeguards on duty. 🌊
  • Do not wander / swim alone after dark. ❌

  • Leave no trace. Clean up after yourselves. 🪣
