What is the minimum age for entry?

EXT enforces a strict 21+ age policy (the legal drinking age in Telangana). Only guests aged 21 or older may enter. You will need to show a valid ID (Passport, Driver’s License, or Aadhar Card) at the door. There are no exceptions.

Is there a dress code for EXT?

The dress code is smart-casual. Most people wear neat jeans, casual shirts, dresses, or trendy urban wear. Sneakers or closed shoes are fine. Flip-flops, athletic gear, or overly casual attire may not be allowed at the door, so it’s best to look a bit stylish. No formal gown or jacket is needed – just be well-presented.

Can I bring my own food or drinks into EXT?

No. Outside food, alcoholic or non-alcoholic drinks are not permitted inside. There are bars inside where you can purchase a full menu of drinks and light snacks. Trying to bring your own drink would result in it being confiscated at the door.

What items are prohibited inside EXT?

The club typically disallows large bags, weapons, or illegal substances. Some venues ban professional camera equipment as well (phones are fine). Basically, bring only essentials (ID, phone, wallet). If in doubt, leave expensive or bulky items at home or in your hotel room.

Are cameras or photography allowed at EXT events?

Casual smartphone photos are generally allowed for your personal use. However, professional photography or video recording (DSLR cameras, tripods, etc.) usually requires prior permission. If you plan to bring more than a phone camera, check with management or event staff. In practice, just snapping with your phone is fine.

What food and drink options are available inside the club?

There are full-service bars inside EXT with a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks – including beer on tap, wine, cocktails, and soft drinks. For food, the club offers light snacks and finger food (like pizzas, fries, or platter items) that can be ordered at the bar. It’s mainly intended to complement your drinks, not a full restaurant meal. During quieter hours, you may also order from the Moonshine Project’s kitchen menu.

Are restrooms provided on-site?

Yes. Restrooms (for men and women) are located inside the club, typically toward the back. They are maintained by staff and are available during events. Expect a line during peak times (like between DJ sets), so you may want to go during quieter moments. Hand sanitizers are often provided near the entrances and restrooms.

Is smoking allowed inside EXT?

No, smoking is not allowed inside the enclosed club area. By law, smoking can only occur in designated outdoor areas. EXT has a small outdoor balcony/terrace for smokers. If you need a cigarette or vape, you have to step outside the main doors (usually the balcony off the entrance). Dispose of any butts respectfully in ashtrays provided.

Is there Wi-Fi or charging available at the venue?

Wi-Fi is not guaranteed; the club may offer a guest password network on some nights, but don’t count on it. Cell reception for Indian SIM cards is strong inside the venue. There are no public charging stations on the dance floor, though you might find a USB outlet or wall socket near the bar or tables if you ask. It’s wise to bring a portable charger if you plan heavy phone use.

What time do shows at EXT typically start and end?

Most shows at EXT start around 9–10pm when doors open, with DJs and performances running late into the night (usually until about 2:30 AM, which is the city’s limit for alcohol service). The early set-up or opening act may start around 10pm, and the headliner often plays after midnight. Always check the specific event page for exact times. If you want to catch a particular artist, plan to arrive at least 30–45 minutes early.
