Know Which Ads, Posts and Partners Sold Your Tickets

Connect each advertising network you use once for your brand, and every event page and checkout under it reports page views, checkout starts and completed ticket sales back to that network. Connect Meta with a sign-in, and add every other network by pasting the tracking code from your ads account. Give each ad, post and partner its own tracking link, and your event shows the clicks, orders and revenue each one brought in.

  • Ticket sales reported to every network you advertise on
  • One setup for every event under your brand
  • Clicks, orders and revenue for every link you share

See Which Facebook and Instagram Ads Sold Tickets

Select Connect Meta in your brand's Integrations, sign in with the Facebook account that runs your ads, and choose the ad account and the pixel your sales should report to. There is no pixel ID to copy and no token to paste, and if you have no pixel yet you can create one in the same step. Turn tracking on, and Ticket Fairy reports each sale to Meta from our servers as well as from the buyer's browser, so Meta still matches sales to your ads when a buyer's browser blocks tracking.

  • Connect Meta: sign in and pick your ad account and pixel
  • Sales reported from our servers: as well as from the buyer's browser
  • New pixel: created in the ad account you connected

Measure Ticket Sales on Every Network You Advertise On

Copy the complete tracking code from your TikTok, Google Ads, Google Analytics, Snapchat, Reddit, Spotify, X, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Microsoft Bing, Amazon DSP or ChatGPT ads account and paste it into Import Tracking Pixel. Ticket Fairy recognises the network and the pixel ID from the code, so you check what it found and import it. Each network then has its own tab showing the pixels you added and the events Ticket Fairy reports to it. Advertise one event from two accounts on the same network, and you can import both pixels.

  • Import Tracking Pixel: paste the code and the network is recognised for you
  • A tab for each network: the pixels you added and the events each one receives
  • Pixels added by Fai: after you approve each change

Set Up Tracking Once for Every Event You Sell

Pixels belong to your brand, so every event page and checkout under it reports to your networks, including events you have not created yet. Each network hears when a visitor opens your event page, when they start checkout and when the sale completes, with the order value and currency. Google Analytics receives the standard ecommerce events with the ticket items, so its ecommerce reports fill in for your ticket sales. Buyers who check out on your own website through the embedded checkout are reported the same way.

  • Brand-wide pixels: every event page and checkout under your brand
  • Views, checkout starts and sales: with the order value and currency
  • Your own website: the embedded checkout reports the same sales

Give Every Ad, Post and Partner Its Own Tracking Link

A newsletter, a partner's page and a printed flyer can all promote the same event at once. Create a tracking link for each one under Marketing, name it after its channel, and share the short address or download it as a QR code for a poster. The Tracking Links table shows the clicks, orders and revenue each link brought in, opens with the busiest link first, and you can copy the whole table into a spreadsheet. Choose a promoter when you create a link, and the sales through it count for that team member.

  • Tracking links: a short address for each ad, post or partner
  • QR codes: the same link for posters and flyers
  • Clicks, orders and revenue: for every link, sorted by what it brought in

Questions About Advertising & tracking

Advertising & tracking

Meta has its own guided setup. TikTok, Spotify, Reddit, X, Google Ads, Google Analytics, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Snapchat, Microsoft Bing, Amazon DSP and ChatGPT each take the tracking code from your ads account. There is also a custom option for another network you use.

You need to be an owner, an admin or on the marketing team for the brand to open Integrations. If you cannot open it, ask an owner or an admin to add the pixel or to give you access.

No. Once you sign in, the guided setup loads your pixels from Meta, so you pick one from a list. A manual option below the guided setup takes a pixel ID and access token if you prefer, but do not add the same pixel in both places.

Yes, for every listed network except Spotify and Microsoft Bing. For either of those, use the pixel from the ads account that runs this brand's campaigns.

Paste the complete tracking code from your ads account, because it holds the settings Ticket Fairy needs to report each sale correctly, such as the Google Ads conversion action. For Google Analytics, the measurement ID that starts with G- is enough. For TikTok, Snapchat, Reddit, X, Pinterest, Microsoft Bing and ChatGPT, Fai can add a pixel from its ID alone once you approve the change.

Buy a ticket on your own event, or place a test order. The purchase then appears in that network's own reporting, such as Meta Events Manager or the Google Analytics Realtime report, with the order value.

Revenue is your share after Ticket Fairy's fees, not what the buyer paid. An order counts from the moment it is placed, and a refund lowers the revenue but stays in the order count. A sale counts towards a link when the buyer opens that link and buys in the same browser.

Yes. Tracking links belong to one event, so create them on each event you promote. Pixels are different: you add each one once for your brand and it reports from every event under it.
