Connect Your Own Tools Without Sharing a Password
Create a personal access token in your account settings for each laptop, server, script or agent, name it after the tool that holds it and give it an expiry that suits the job. A token carries your own role, so it reaches only the brands and events you can reach, and you can revoke it the moment a laptop goes missing. Your scripts use it to create events and read their sales through the organiser API, and a retry after a network error does not create the event twice. Your brand's API key opens the event APIs, such as your referral leaderboard.
