# Sell tickets on your WordPress, Wix, Webflow or Framer site

Copy a snippet from your dashboard, paste it into the code element your website builder already has, and buyers choose tickets and pay on your own pages.

- Tickets on sale from the website you already have
- Copy, paste and publish, with no developer
- Buyers pay without leaving your pages

## Sell tickets on your WordPress site with a Custom HTML block

Open the page where you want tickets on sale in the WordPress block editor. Add a Custom HTML block, paste the snippet from the Embed on your website page in your dashboard, and update the page. Your buy button, checkout or list of events appears on the published page, in the place you put the block.

Using the classic editor or a page builder such as Elementor? Paste the same snippet into its HTML or code element. Put the event listing on your What's On page, and each event you make public appears there with its own buy button, so the page stays current without another edit.

- **Custom HTML block**: the block WordPress already has for pasted code
- **Event listing**: every public event on your What's On page
- **Page builders**: the same snippet in an HTML element

## Add a ticket checkout to your Wix site with Embed HTML

In the Wix Editor, add an element, choose Embed code and then Embed HTML. Select Enter Code, choose Code, paste the snippet and select Update, then publish your site. Stretch the element to the width of your page and give it enough height, so buyers see the whole checkout without scrolling inside a small box.

In Wix, use the checkout on the page, not a buy button or an event list. Wix keeps pasted code inside its own box, so a buy button would open the checkout squeezed into that box. Put the checkout on a tickets page and give the element enough height for every step.

- **Embed HTML element**: the Wix element for pasted code
- **Full height**: room for every checkout step
- **Checkout on the page**: the full checkout on a tickets page

## Sell tickets from your Squarespace pages with a Code block

Edit the page in Squarespace, add a block, choose Code and paste the snippet. Save the page, and the checkout appears where you placed the block, in the colors you chose in your dashboard. Add a Code block to each page that needs one: a buy button on your home page, the checkout on your tickets page and the event listing on your events page.

Each sale through the Code block is an order on your Ticket Fairy event. It counts towards your capacity, shows in your sales reports and gives the buyer the same confirmation email and tickets as a sale on your event page.

Code blocks run the snippet only on Squarespace plans that allow JavaScript, such as Core, Plus and Advanced. On a plan without it, link your buy buttons to your Ticket Fairy event page instead, so buyers can still get tickets.

- **Code block**: the Squarespace block for pasted code
- **Your orders**: every website sale in your usual reports
- **Your colors**: a checkout that matches your site

## Put tickets on sale in Webflow with a Code Embed element

In the Webflow Designer, open the Add panel, drag a Code Embed element onto your page, paste the snippet and save. Publish the site, and buyers can choose tickets and pay right there. Place the element inside a section or container, so the checkout follows the width of your layout on phones and desktops.

Already designed your own buy buttons in Webflow? Keep them. Add the snippet to the page, and each link to your Ticket Fairy event page opens the checkout on your site, so buyers stay on your page to pay.

Code Embed elements need a paid Webflow Site plan or an eligible paid Workspace plan. On a free Webflow site, link your buy buttons to your Ticket Fairy event page instead.

- **Code Embed element**: the Webflow element for pasted code
- **Your own buttons**: links to your event page open the checkout
- **Phones and desktops**: a checkout that fits your layout

## Sell tickets on your Framer site with an Embed component

In Framer, insert an Embed component onto your page, set its type to HTML and paste the checkout snippet into the HTML field. Framer keeps pasted code inside the component, so use the checkout on the page rather than a buy button, and give the component enough height. Then publish. Buyers choose tickets, pay and get their confirmation without leaving the site you designed.

Framer sites often have a strong look of their own. Choose a light or dark style for the checkout, set your main and highlight colors, and pick the shape of the buy button, so the checkout looks like part of your design.

- **Embed component**: set to HTML for the snippet
- **Light or dark**: a style to suit your design
- **Button shape**: filled or outlined, with the corners you choose

## Give buyers the full checkout without leaving your site

The snippet brings your Ticket Fairy checkout onto your page, so buyers get what they get on your event page. They pay by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay, enter a [promo code](https://www.ticketfairy.com/event-ticketing/event-promo-codes), add extras such as parking or merch, and spread the cost with a payment plan when you offer one. On a seated event, they choose their seats on your Ticket Fairy seat map.

Buyers see prices in their own currency when your event is on sale in more than one. The checkout works in the browser that opens inside Instagram and Facebook, and in browsers that block third-party cookies, so buyers who tap through from a post can still pay.

After paying, buyers get their tickets by email and can share their own link with friends, just as they can after buying on your event page.

- **Card, Apple Pay and Google Pay**: payment on your own page
- **Promo codes and extras**: discounts and add-ons in the same checkout
- **Payment plans**: installments when you offer them
- **Seat maps**: buyers choose their seats on your page

## Keep your buy buttons, promoter links and ad tracking

Already link to your event page from your website? Add the snippet, and those links open the checkout on your page. Promoter and tracking links do the same and still credit the promoter who brought the buyer. Your [Meta pixel](https://www.ticketfairy.com/event-ticketing/tracking-pixels-analytics-integrations), Google Tag Manager and other pixels record each sale just as they do on your event page.

Promoter click counts stay complete too, so your promoters see every click from your website in their results, and your ads learn from every buyer.

- **Your links**: open the checkout on your page
- **Promoter links**: sales still credited to the promoter
- **Pixels and Google Tag Manager**: each sale recorded as on your event page

## Match your website and choose where your checkout appears

Create a saved embed in your dashboard to set the colors, the light or dark style and the words on the button. List the websites you own, and your checkout works only on them. On Wix and Framer, leave that list empty: they show pasted code through a page of their own, so a list of your websites would block the checkout there. Each snippet you paste uses the saved embed, so a change you make there shows on every page of your site.

No time to set anything up? The buy button snippet on your event's embed page works straight away, with the standard look. Create a saved embed later, when you want your own colors or want to choose the websites it appears on.

- **Saved embed**: your colors, style and button words
- **Your websites**: only your sites can show your checkout

## How organizers sell from the website they built

- ### A band on Squarespace

A touring band adds the event listing to the Tour page of its Squarespace site. Each new date appears with its own buy button once it is public, and fans pay with Apple Pay in a few taps without leaving the band's site.
- ### A festival on Framer

A festival team designs its site in Framer and puts the full checkout on its Tickets page in the festival's colors. Promoters keep sharing their own links, which now open the checkout on the festival site and still credit each sale to them.
- ### A pottery studio on Wix

A pottery studio runs weekend workshops from its Wix site. It puts the checkout on each class page, and students book a place, pay and get their confirmation email without leaving the studio's pages.

## Questions About Selling on WordPress, Wix and Other Website Builders

### Website builders

#### Can I sell tickets on my WordPress site?

Yes. Paste the snippet from the Embed on your website page into a Custom HTML block, or into the HTML element of a page builder such as Elementor, and publish the page. If your site is on WordPress.com, your plan needs to allow custom code.

#### Does it work on Wix?

Yes. In the Wix Editor, add an Embed HTML element from Embed code, paste the checkout snippet as code and publish. Use the checkout on the page rather than a buy button, because Wix keeps pasted code inside the element, and give the element enough height for the whole checkout.

#### Do I need a developer?

No. If you can add a block or an element to a page in your website builder, you can add the snippet. A developer helps only when you want custom CSS on top of the colors and button styles you set in your dashboard.

#### Will buyers leave my website?

Buyers who pay by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay stay on your website from choosing tickets to seeing their confirmation. A few pay-later and bank transfer methods open their own payment page, then send the buyer back to your website.

#### How is this different from linking to an event page?

A link takes buyers to your Ticket Fairy event page to buy. The snippet brings the same checkout onto your own page, so buyers stay with your design and your content while they pay. Your event page stays on sale too, and sales from both appear in the same orders and reports.

#### Can buyers use Apple Pay and Google Pay on my website?

Yes, once your website is listed on a saved embed and your event takes payments through Stripe. Apple Pay also needs Apple's verification file on your own domain. Some website builders do not let you add that file, and buyers on those sites pay by card or Google Pay.

#### What does it cost to sell tickets on my website?

Adding the snippet is free for every brand. A sale on your website carries the same ticket fees as a sale on your event page.

#### Can I sell every event from my website?

Most events, yes. Events that need your full event page, such as pay-what-you-want pricing, custom terms or custom forms, open that page for the buyer, so they keep every purchase option. Seat maps from other seating providers open your event page too.

#### Does the checkout add links to my website?

No. A small Powered by Ticket Fairy line sits inside the checkout itself. Nothing is added to your own page, so your site carries no extra links from us.

#### What if the snippet shows as plain text or nothing appears?

Some website builders run pasted code only on certain plans, or only on the published site and not in the editor preview. Publish the page and check it there. If nothing appears, check that your plan allows custom code.
