Get Paid for Every Ticket, on the Terms You Choose

Choose how your events take card payments and when the money reaches you. Let Ticket Fairy collect the payments and pay you after the event, or link your own payment processing account and receive the money as tickets sell. Decide who pays the booking fee, offer payment plans on higher-priced tickets and see what each event has earned.

  • Card payments ready before your on-sale
  • Your money when you want it
  • Bigger tickets that more fans can afford

Choose When Your Ticket Money Reaches You

When you set up your brand, pick how you are paid. With Paid out after your event, Ticket Fairy collects the card payments, there is nothing to set up and you can publish your event straight away. With Before your event, as tickets sell, the money goes to your own payment processing account as buyers pay, so you can spend it before the show.

  • Paid out after your event: nothing to set up, and your event can go live at once
  • Paid as tickets sell: the money goes to your own account as buyers pay
  • Payout details: the bank account we pay into, with a different one for any event that needs it

Link the Account That Takes Your Card Payments

Link a payment processing account to your brand and every new event uses it. A managed account is set up and read inside your Ticket Fairy dashboard, with no second sign-in for your team to keep. Choose Stripe (classic) to be paid into the Stripe account you already run, or Xendit to take payments in Indonesia and the Philippines. Keep several accounts on one brand, name each one so your team knows it, and choose a different one for any event.

  • Managed account: set up, payouts and payments read from your dashboard
  • Default account: the account every new event on the brand starts with
  • Ready to take money: each account shows when it is active, with Continue setup where it is not

Decide Who Pays the Booking Fee

Choose who pays the booking fee on each event. With Added, buyers pay the booking fee and see one all-inclusive price on your event page, and you keep the full ticket price. With Absorbed, buyers pay exactly the price on your poster and the fee comes out of what you receive. With Added Later, buyers see the ticket price on the page and the fee at checkout. Your Ticket Types table shows what the buyer pays or what you receive for every price you enter.

  • Added: the buyer pays the fee and you keep the full ticket price
  • Absorbed: the price on your poster is the price at checkout
  • Prices under your choice: the buyer price or your amount beside each face value

Sell Higher-Priced Tickets to Fans Who Pay Over Time

A fan who cannot pay for a weekend ticket today can pay a deposit at checkout and the rest weekly or monthly from the same card. You choose the deposit, the number of payments, how long before the event the last one is due and when an order that stops paying is cancelled. Ticket Fairy takes each payment on schedule and retries a failed one before your team has to act. A customer preview shows the plan the way your buyers will see it.

  • Deposit at checkout: a percentage, a fixed amount or the same as each later payment
  • Weekly or monthly payments: every plan finishes before the cutoff you set
  • Automatic retries: a failed payment is tried again before you need to look

Know What Each Event Earned and When You Get Paid

Open your event's Performance page for net revenue from the first sale, with add-ons and table revenue in it and box office cash shown on its own. Once we send the money for an event Ticket Fairy collects for, the figure is marked Released to bank. The payment details in your publish review say when the payout is due for that event and what can hold it back, so you know when to expect your money.

  • Net revenue: live from the first sale on your event's Performance page
  • Released to bank: the mark that shows we have sent your money
  • Payment details at publish: when the payout is due and what can delay it

Everything You Need to Take Payments and Get Paid

  • Payment processing accounts

Link a managed account, Stripe (classic) or Xendit to your brand. Every new event uses the default, and you can choose a different account for any event.

  • Account names your team knows

Rename each account on a brand so nobody puts an event on the wrong one. Buyers never see the name.

  • Archive old accounts

Take an account off the list new events can use. Events already using it are untouched.

  • Payout after the event

Let Ticket Fairy collect the card payments and pay you after the event, with nothing to set up.

  • Payout as tickets sell

Receive the money in your own payment processing account as buyers pay, on that account's own payout schedule.

  • Payout details

Enter the bank account we pay into on your brand, and use a different account for one event when you need to.

  • Who pays the booking fee

Pass the fee to buyers, absorb it into your ticket price or show it at checkout. The choice applies to every ticket type and add-on on the event.

  • Payment plans

Take a deposit at checkout and the rest in weekly or monthly payments. Buyers who already started a plan always keep their terms.

  • Ways buyers pay

Buyers pay by card, with wallets such as Apple Pay and Google Pay, and with local payment methods.

Questions About Payments & payouts

Payments & payouts

On an event Ticket Fairy collects the payments for, payouts are processed 10 to 15 business days after the event finishes. Where you take the card payments on your own account, you are paid on that account's own schedule. The publish review states this for the event in front of you.

A postponed event is paid after it takes place, and a cancelled one is held while we refund the buyers for you. Pending refund requests, chargebacks and an event we have classified as high risk each extend the wait.

Before your on-sale. To be paid as tickets sell, your own account has to be active before your tickets go on sale. Paid out after your event needs nothing set up, so you can publish straight away.

Only the brand owner. A team member with admin rights can open the Payments page and read the accounts on it. A brand in Indonesia or the Philippines is offered Xendit only.

No. The payment processing account takes the money from the buyer. Payout Details, under your brand's Details, is the bank account Ticket Fairy sends your money to after the event. Check it before the event ends, because a payout already sent to an old account has to be recalled.

Not between Added and Absorbed once the event has ticket types, because each ticket type's prices were prepared under the current choice. Delete the ticket types, change the choice and create them again. A ticket type that has sold cannot be deleted. Added Later is not available for events in Australia, the United Kingdom or the United States.

It depends on the ticket price and the event's country. It falls as a percentage as prices rise, with a small minimum on low prices, and free tickets carry none. Your Ticket Types table shows the exact amount for every price you enter.

Ticket Fairy retries a failed payment automatically. An order that is still unfinished at the cancellation cutoff you set is cancelled, and you keep the first instalment. A plan applies to the whole event, it can be saved only on the card payment method that supports plans, and your plan settings lock from the event's first sale.

Buyers can pay by card and with wallets such as Apple Pay and Google Pay. Local payment methods appear at checkout where they are available.

Yes. Open the event, select Payments and choose one of the brand's active accounts. You can change it until the event takes its first paid order.
