Turn Every Buyer Into a Fan Who Sells Tickets for You

Every buyer of a paid ticket gets their own referral link, and earns back part or all of their ticket price as their friends buy through it. You choose the message they share, the apps they share to and the prizes your biggest fans can win. The Influencers report then shows which buyers brought in the most sales and what the rewards cost you.

  • More sales from your buyers' friends
  • Prizes that keep your best fans sharing
  • The return on every reward in your reports

Pay Buyers Back When Their Friends Buy

Each buyer of a paid ticket gets a personal referral link by email and on their order page. Set three sales targets, and the share of their own ticket price a buyer earns back at each one, with the top target returning the whole price. A buyer earns the reward for the highest target they reach, counted on the tickets their friends paid for. Show the offer on your event page so buyers see what they can earn before they check out.

  • Personal referral links: for every buyer of a paid ticket
  • Reward tiers: three sales targets with the reward you choose at each
  • Offer before checkout: the reward explained on your event page

Make Sharing Easy the Moment Someone Buys

Enter the message your buyers start with, and their personal link is added after it. Offer every app, or choose the ones that suit your crowd, such as WhatsApp, Instagram Stories or a plain copied link. Every buyer gets a share card built from your event artwork, on the page they see after paying and in their order. Turn on drawn share cards and each buyer gets a picture made for them in the look you choose.

  • Your message: the words every buyer starts with
  • Apps you choose: every app, or only the ones you pick
  • Share cards: from your artwork, or drawn for each buyer

Give Your Biggest Fans Prizes Worth Chasing

Put a ticket upgrade, merch, an experience or a VIP table on your event, and choose what a fan does to win it: tickets they referred, friends they brought, a place on the referral leaderboard, pre-registration points or check-ins. Run a prize across your whole brand for fans who refer across your events or come to several of them. Add a boost so referrals count for more over a launch weekend, and let friends team up in packs to win something together. Buyers see their place, who came through them and how close they are to each prize on their order page.

  • Prizes: upgrades, merch, experiences and tables
  • Ways to win: referrals, leaderboard places, pre-registration points and check-ins
  • Boosts: referrals count for more between two times you set
  • Packs: friends pool their referrals to win together

Choose Winners Fairly and Hand Every Prize Out

A prize with a target goes to each fan the moment they reach it. For a prize you judge yourself, name the buyer you already know won, or draw winners at random from every buyer who has paid, and nobody wins until you give the prizes out. Ask winners for a postal address or the spelling of their name on the prize itself. Mark each prize as delivered from the Winners list, with every delivery, undo and cancelled win kept in the winner's history.

  • Pick or draw a winner: draw again as often as you like before you confirm
  • Winners list: what you still owe and what you have delivered
  • Questions for winners: the details you need to send each prize

See Whether Your Referrals Pay for Themselves

The Influencers report shows how many of your buyers shared, the clicks their links brought each day and the share of your revenue that came through them. It sets the rewards you owe against the sales they brought in, as a return for each unit of reward and as a marketing cost. A table ranks every buyer by their clicks, referred sales, revenue and reward, so you can find your strongest sharers before your next on-sale.

  • Share rate and clicks: how many buyers shared and when the clicks came
  • Return on rewards: referred revenue set against the rewards you owe
  • Top referrers: every buyer's clicks, sales, revenue and reward

Questions About Referral rewards

Referral rewards

Every paid ticket, unless you turn referrals off for that ticket type. When a buyer holds more than one such ticket, their reward is based on the highest-priced one.

Buy an eligible paid ticket, share their personal link and bring in enough completed ticket sales to reach one of your targets. Opening the link or starting checkout does not count.

What they paid for their own eligible ticket, and never more than that price. A buyer earns the percentage for the highest target they reach, and the targets do not add together. A new event starts at 10% after 2 referred sales, 30% after 5 and 100% after 8.

If rewards were on when the first ticket sold, the tiers stay fixed so every buyer keeps the offer they saw. If rewards were off, you can turn them on and set the tiers later.

No. Sales through a promoter link belong to that member of your team and appear under Sales by Promoter. A buyer earns a referral reward only when they are not on your event team. Table bookings do not earn referral rewards.

Each drawn card costs your brand a small amount from a monthly budget you set. Each event pays for 500 drawn cards unless you choose another number, and you can enter 0 to pause them. The card built from your artwork is free for every buyer.

Twenty at a time on each event and on each brand. A draw picks up to 25 winners at once, and never more than you have left of the prize.

Every buyer who has paid for a ticket on the event, or on any of the brand's events for a brand prize. Each buyer goes in once, however many tickets they bought, and a buyer who already holds the prize is left out.

You need an owner or admin login on the event, or on the brand for a brand prize and the share card budget. With a Stats or Limited Stats login you can read the reports and prizes but change nothing, and neither login shows a winner's email address.
