# Turn your Instagram and Facebook followers into ticket buyers

Fans who comment a word like TICKETS get your ticket link by private message, day and night. Plan campaigns and draft captions with AI, then approve each post.

- Posts drafted and scheduled for each on-sale
- Ticket questions answered, buyers spotted at once
- See the orders each message campaign brings

## Reach fans on each account that promotes your events

Your festival account and your club-night account can both come into Ticket Fairy, and so can a venue with its own Instagram. Connect each Instagram account directly or through the Facebook Page it is linked to. Then choose whether it promotes your whole brand, an event series, a venue or one event. Your event posts go to the accounts that promote that event, its venue or its series. Each account card shows you whether the account is working, and asks you to reconnect before its sign-in runs out.

- **Connected accounts**: Instagram accounts and Facebook Pages
- **What each account is for**: your brand, a series, a venue or one event
- **Reconnect reminders**: a nudge before an account stops working

## Draft posts and plan whole campaigns with AI

Select Help me write in the New post dialog, choose an event and a tone, and you get three captions. They use your brand guidance and your event's name, date, venue and line-up. You can also ask for three post ideas, or make your own caption shorter, livelier or clearer about what fans should do next. With Plan a campaign, you turn your event brief into post ideas for each phase, from the announcement to the last chance. Each idea gets an owner. For direct messages, set an account to suggest drafts, and your team reads each reply before it goes out.

- **Captions with AI**: from your brand guidance and your event details
- **Suggested replies**: drafts for your direct messages
- **Campaign plans**: post ideas for each phase of your on-sale
- **Your approval**: nothing changes until you choose a suggestion

## Plan the posts that sell your tickets in one sitting

Draft a post for one account or several and link it to its event. Then choose its job, such as announcing the event or creating last-chance urgency. Find good times suggests when to post on each account, based on how your recent posts performed, your event's countdown and your team's calendar. Or choose the exact minute yourself. The Calendar shows each post you have planned for an event or series. Turn on approval for an account, and each of its posts waits until an owner or admin approves it.

- **Calendar**: your posts by day, for each event or series
- **Find good times**: suggested times to post on each account
- **Ask before posts go live**: posts wait for an owner or admin

![Ticket Fairy social publishing queue listing posts with their account, send time and status, including one waiting for approval and one that did not go out](https://www.ticketfairy.com/embeds/posters/marketing-social-publish--queue.png)

## Answer ticket buyers first, on posts and in messages

Comments from all your connected accounts arrive in the Inbox. Fans who have ordered from your brand carry a Ticket buyer badge, and you can see the mood of each comment. Reply in public so one answer helps everyone reading the post, or move an order question into a private message. Each conversation shows the fan's recent orders with you. Give it an owner, leave notes for your team and mark it done, so each fan gets one clear answer. Hide a tout's comment, and only its author can still see it.

- **Inbox**: comments and direct messages from all your accounts
- **Ticket buyer badge**: the fan's recent orders beside their messages
- **Team replies**: an owner and notes for each conversation
- **Hide touts**: only the author still sees the comment

## Send your ticket link the moment a fan asks

Set up a workflow for your event. From then on, each fan who comments a word such as TICKETS under your posts gets their own invitation link. It arrives by private message, day and night. Activity lists each fan who got a reply and what happened next. To reach fans who commented earlier, send a message campaign. Everyone who commented on a post, or each comment you pick, gets one personal message. You then see the taps on its link and the orders that followed.

- **Ticket link auto-reply**: a private message the moment a fan comments
- **Message campaigns**: one personal message to each fan who commented
- **Results**: taps and orders from each campaign

![Ticket Fairy Workflows table with a followers-only presale switched on beside an invitation workflow](https://www.ticketfairy.com/embeds/posters/marketing-social-workflows--workflows.png)

## Reward your followers with their own presale

Fans comment your presale word under an Instagram post and follow your account. Then they reply with their email address to join the presale list for your event. The Sign-ups list shows how far each fan has got. When you are ready, launch the presale once. Each fan on the list gets a personal link by email and in their messages, so they can buy before the public on-sale. Choose a hidden ticket type for the presale, and only fans with a personal link can buy it.

- **Presale list**: fans follow and leave their email to join
- **One launch**: a personal link by email and private message
- **Presale ticket types**: hidden tickets that only each fan's link opens

## Questions About Social Media

### Social media

#### Which social accounts can I connect?

You can connect a professional (business or creator) Instagram account, directly or through the Facebook Page it is linked to. You can also connect a TikTok Business account. You schedule posts, reply to comments and run follower presales from your Instagram accounts and Facebook Pages. A brand can connect up to 25 accounts.

#### Who on my team can use Social?

You need to be an owner or an admin of the brand to connect accounts, set up workflows and run a presale. Curators can draft and schedule posts, and support team members can answer comments and messages. Social is available to every brand.

#### Does anything go public without our approval?

A post goes out only when a team member schedules or publishes it. Turn on Ask before posts go live, and each post on that account waits for an owner or admin. Fans get private messages from a workflow only after you switch it on. An account set to reply automatically answers common questions straight away, so choose Suggest drafts if you want to read each reply first.

#### How long do I have to reply to a fan?

Instagram and Facebook let you reply to a direct message within 24 hours of the fan's last message. You can send a personal reply for up to 7 days after it. You can answer a comment with one private message, for 7 days after the fan left it. A workflow answers as soon as the comment arrives.

#### How do I see what a message campaign sold?

Open the campaign to see the messages sent, the taps on its link and the orders that followed. Instagram does not make a link in a caption clickable. Share your ticket link through private messages, workflows and the link in your profile instead.

#### Do workflows and presale launches use up messages?

Yes. Each message counts towards your brand's monthly message allowance. If the allowance runs out, a workflow stops replying until it renews, and you can switch a workflow off at any time. Each ready fan on a presale list also gets their personal link by email. That way they receive it even when a direct message cannot reach them.

#### Can I stop a workflow at any time?

Yes. Switch it off in your list of workflows and it stops replying to comments at once. Invitations that fans already received stay valid.

#### Can someone else use a fan's presale link?

Yes. Anyone with the link can use it, and each link buys once. If a fan forwards their link and another person buys with it, the fan can no longer use it.
