# Get every event's next social move drafted for you

The Social Assistant watches your events, ticket sales and fans, then drafts the posts and replies a social media manager would. You approve, edit or dismiss each one.

- Posts drafted for each stage of every event
- Ticket scams hidden before fans fall for them
- Promotion paused at once when an event changes

## See where each event stands on social at a glance

Social Home lists your upcoming events, soonest first. Each one shows the posts scheduled, published and waiting for approval, the drafts the assistant has ready, the fan questions still open, your presale sign-ups and the tickets and revenue your social media sold. A line underneath names the next post the assistant will suggest and when.

Every event has its next steps beside it. Review drafts opens the assistant's drafts for that event. Plan posts opens your calendar for it. See report opens its social sales report, and Post an update is there for the day plans change. A venue with a show every night and a festival with one big weekend both start the day from the same list, and nobody has to hunt through separate tools to find out what each event still needs.

- **Upcoming events**: posts, drafts and open questions for each one
- **Tickets from social**: the tickets and revenue each event sold
- **Next suggested post**: what the assistant drafts next, and when

## Get a post drafted for every stage of each event

The assistant follows each event from the announcement to the thank-you. When tickets go on sale soon, run low, sell out for one ticket type or for the whole event, reach the last chance or the day itself arrives, it drafts the post that moment needs. It uses your brand voice, your brand guidelines, the event details, the line-up and the tickets still available, and it picks a time for the post.

Each draft says why it was made, in plain words, such as "the event starts on Thursday and tickets are still available". Approve it as it is, edit the caption, image or time first, or dismiss it. When your accounts have weekly posting times, the assistant moves each draft to the free posting time nearest its moment. A sold-out or thank-you post carries no ticket link, because it does not ask fans to buy.

- **Milestone posts**: announcement, on-sale, low tickets, sold out and more
- **Your brand voice**: captions that sound like your own posts
- **A reason for each draft**: why the assistant suggests it now

![Ticket Fairy Social Assistant Ready for you list with a last chance post, a suggested reply to a fan, a possible ticket scam and a fan follow-up, each with the reason it was suggested](https://www.ticketfairy.com/embeds/posters/marketing-social-assistant--ready-for-you.png)

## Answer fans' questions with replies drafted from your event details

Fans ask the same things before every event: the age limit, the door time, the bag policy, the parking. The assistant drafts an answer to each open question in your comments, messages and mentions, in the fan's own language. It uses only your event details and the answers you have saved, and when those do not answer the question it leaves the reply to your team.

Read the suggested reply beside what the fan asked, then select Approve and send, edit it first or dismiss it. When your event details fully answer a question, you can let the assistant send those replies by itself. Each one it sends is listed under Done with the fan's question and the reply, so you can open the conversation or delete the reply.

- **Comments, messages and mentions**: a reply drafted for each open question
- **Your event details and saved answers**: the only facts a reply uses
- **The fan's language**: each answer in the language they asked in

## Hide ticket scams before your fans fall for them

Touts and scammers follow every big on-sale into your comments with "selling my ticket, DM me". The scam guard spots those comments and hides them, so your fans never pay a stranger for a ticket that does not scan. A hidden comment is never deleted. Each one appears under Done with Undo, so you can show it again in a tap.

Prefer to decide yourself? Set the scam guard to Ask me first and each possible scam waits in your list with Hide comment beside it. Done also lists the posts your team approved, the replies the assistant sent and the drafts somebody dismissed, each with who did it and when.

- **Scam guard**: ticket scams and touts hidden from your posts
- **Undo**: show any hidden comment again
- **Done**: what was approved, sent or hidden, by whom

![Ticket Fairy Social Assistant Done list with a scam comment hidden automatically and an Undo button, an approved post and replies sent automatically](https://www.ticketfairy.com/embeds/posters/marketing-social-assistant--done.png)

## Clear a month of event posts in one approval

A venue with twenty nights a month gets a stack of drafts. Choose an event and select Approve all for that event. Before anything happens, you see how many posts, replies, hidden comments and messages it covers, and which drafts stay behind for you to check, such as a post that still needs an image.

The assistant also finds fans who asked about tickets under your posts in the last week and have not bought yet. It drafts a message campaign to them with your event's tracked ticket link. Approving it saves the campaign as a draft, and nothing is sent until you launch it from Fan messages.

Teammates can work the same list together. If somebody approves or dismisses a draft first, your list shows their decision, and nobody posts the same thing twice.

- **Approve all for one event**: what will happen is shown before you confirm
- **Fan follow-up**: a draft message to fans who asked but did not buy
- **Needs an image**: drafts you finish by hand stay in the list

## Decide how much the assistant does by itself

Each job has its own setting. Event posts, fan follow-up and reply drafts start on Ask me first, so nothing is posted or sent until someone on your team approves it. Switch reply drafts to Do it automatically for questions your event details fully answer, or switch any job off. Owners and admins also get a short weekly summary of what the assistant did, what waits for approval and the event milestones ahead.

Ask Fai, the assistant in your dashboard, what is waiting for you, and she reads the list, approves the drafts you choose, dismisses the rest, undoes an automatic action or changes these settings. She asks you to confirm each step first, and she can do only what your own role allows.

- **Ask me first or automatically**: a choice for each job, or off
- **Weekly summary**: what happened and what is coming up
- **Fai**: reviews and approves drafts with you

## Tell your fans fast when an event changes

A storm warning, a postponed date or a headliner who pulls out is the worst day to have an "only a few tickets left" post go out. Select Post an update on the event and say what happened in your own words. One confirmation pauses every scheduled promotional post for that event, drafts an update post for each of your networks in your brand voice with no ticket link, and saves a ready reply for your team's answers to fans.

Choose whether the update drafts wait for approval in the assistant or open straight away so you can review and post them now. Until you resume, nothing promotional for that event goes out. New promotional posts wait, and an auto-reply that would send a fan the ticket link sends them your update instead. A banner on Social Home and on your calendar shows who started the update and how many posts are paused.

When the new plans are settled, select Resume promotional posts. Every paused post goes back to the queue, and a post whose time passed while it was paused comes back as a draft, so nothing late goes out by surprise. Fai can start and resume an update for you too.

- **Promotion paused**: every scheduled promotional post for the event
- **Update posts drafted**: one for each network, with no ticket link
- **A ready reply**: your team answers fans in the same words
- **Resume**: paused posts back in the queue in one step

![Ticket Fairy Post an update dialog with pause scheduled promotional posts, draft an update post for every account and load a ready reply all ticked](https://www.ticketfairy.com/embeds/posters/marketing-social-home--post-update-actions.png)

## Show artists, venues and sponsors what your social media sold

The event report shows the tickets and revenue your social media sold for one event, split by where each sale came from: a post's ticket link, an auto-reply, the presale list or a fan message. Refunds are taken off, so the totals match the event's Sales report. It also shows your posts with their reach, views and engagement, the best posts with the tickets each one sold, how fans felt in the comments and the outreach your team ran.

When the event is part of a series, the report sits beside the previous edition, so you see at once whether this year beat last year. Print it or save it as a PDF to send to the artist, the venue or a sponsor. Owners and admins can have it emailed to them every week before the event and once more two days after it ends. Open it from See report on Social Home, or ask Fai to read it to you.

- **Tickets and revenue from social**: split by post, auto-reply, presale and fan message
- **Best posts**: with the tickets each one sold
- **Last edition**: this year beside last year
- **PDF and weekly email**: a recap ready to share

## How event teams use the Social Assistant

- ### A venue with a show every night

The marketing manager opens Social Home on Monday, picks each of the week's shows and approves all its drafts in one step. The drafts that need a fresh photo stay in the list for the designer.
- ### An outdoor show and a storm warning

The promoter posts an update that the show moves to next Saturday. Four on-sale posts pause at once, the update drafts are ready to approve within minutes, and fans who comment TICKETS get the news instead of a link.
- ### A festival on-sale

The scam guard hides "selling my wristband, DM me" comments as they arrive under the line-up post. The team checks Done once an hour and shows the one comment that was a genuine fan.
- ### A promoter reporting to an artist

Two days after the tour date, the event report arrives by email. The promoter saves it as a PDF and sends the artist's team the tickets their posts sold, beside last year's show.
- ### A busy support team

Replies to the age limit and door time questions go out by themselves, because the event details answer them. The team spends its time on the refund and transfer questions that need a person.

## Questions About the Social Assistant, Event Updates and Event Reports

### Social Assistant & updates

#### Who can approve the assistant's drafts?

Owners and admins can approve every draft. Curators can approve posts, fan message campaigns, comment replies and hidden comments. Support team members can approve replies, including replies to direct messages, and hide comments. Turning on a suggested auto-reply needs an owner or admin.

#### Does the assistant ever post without asking?

Only for the jobs you set to Do it automatically. The scam guard starts that way and only hides comments, never deletes them. Reply drafts can be switched to automatic, and then only replies your event details fully answer are sent. Posts and fan message campaigns always wait for a person.

#### Which events does the assistant draft posts for?

Your published events that start in the next 60 days get a draft for each stage, and events that ended in the last two days get their thank-you post. Events up to a year ahead get their announcement and on-sale posts. The assistant checks your events every hour, soonest first.

#### What if a reply draft gets a fact wrong?

A reply draft uses only your event details and saved answers. If it mentions a detail that is not in them, it is marked for you to check, and only fully supported replies can go out by themselves. Keep your event details and FAQs up to date and the replies stay accurate.

#### Who can post an update or resume promotion?

Owners and admins of the brand. Everyone with access to Social can see the banner while an update is in progress.

#### Can an update pause every post, however many there are?

One update pauses up to 500 scheduled posts for the event. If there are more, cancel or reschedule some first, or start the update without pausing promotion.

#### Does an update email my ticket holders?

No. An update changes your social posts and replies. To email ticket holders too, open the event's Messaging page after you confirm the update.

#### How are the tickets in the event report counted?

Each order is counted once in the total, even when a fan tapped a post and later got an auto-reply. The split by source counts an order under each source that brought it in, so the sources can add up to more than the total. Refunded tickets are taken off, except for a cancelled event, as in the Sales report.

#### Why do some posts show no tickets sold?

Tickets sold for each post come from the ticket link in the post, and only Facebook posts can carry a link a fan can tap. Instagram posts show their reach, views and engagement, and Instagram sales are counted through auto-replies, presale lists and fan messages.

#### Who can see and receive the event report?

Owners, admins, support team members, curators, promoters and Stats users of the brand can open it. Owners and admins can turn on the weekly email for themselves.
