# Make Your Venue's Page Answer What Visitors Ask

Your venue already has a page on Ticket Fairy under its city, and it is often the first thing a promoter or a ticket buyer reads about the place. Claim it with a code we email to your venue, then add what people need to know about getting there, the rooms and the door. The page is free, whether or not you sell tickets with us.

- Your venue's page in your own words
- Visitors' questions answered before they arrive
- The venue's own team helping keep it current

## Claim Your Venue's Page in a Few Minutes

Open your venue's page on Ticket Fairy, enter your venue email address and enter the code we send there. Say whether you run the venue or work with the team there, then create your account. Claiming creates a brand of your own to look after the page, so you can start with no Ticket Fairy account. From then on, the page tells visitors about your venue in your own words.

- **Claim by email code**: a code sent to your venue email address
- **Your account and brand**: made as you claim the page
- **Free page**: free whether or not you sell tickets with us

![Ticket Fairy Create your account page with first name, last name, password and confirm password fields under the four sign-up steps](https://www.ticketfairy.com/embeds/posters/marketing-sign-up--create-your-account.png)

## Look After Your Venues From the Brand You Already Run

A venue team or a promoter group that already sells tickets here adds the venue's page from the dashboard. Open Venues on your brand, choose from the venues your brand has run events at or search every venue by name, and claim it with an email code the same way. Your brand keeps its events and its owner, and the venue joins the list beside every other venue you look after.

- **Venues**: every venue page your brand looks after
- **Add a venue**: a room you have played, or any venue found by name
- **Several venues**: every venue you look after, from one brand

![Ticket Fairy Venues list showing the venue pages a brand looks after](https://www.ticketfairy.com/embeds/posters/marketing-venue-page--your-venues.png)

## Tell Visitors What They Need to Know Before They Arrive

Add sections on getting there, the rooms, accessibility and the door, put them in the order people read them, and keep any section as a draft until it is ready. Answer the questions visitors ask, such as where to park and what time you open, and search engines read your answers as questions and answers. Choose a language for each section, so staff who speak different languages can share one page. Your sections sit above what the page already says about the venue.

- **Page sections**: a heading and text, moved up and down into order
- **Drafts**: kept for your team until you put them on the page
- **Questions people ask**: answers that can show in search results

![Ticket Fairy venue page with no sections yet, offering Add the first section](https://www.ticketfairy.com/embeds/posters/marketing-venue-page--nothing-written-yet.png)

## Bring the Venue's Own People In to Help

Invite the venue's booker or marketing manager by email to help with the page. Choose On the venue team or Runs the venue, and they can change what the page says and invite other people from the venue. Their seat covers the venue page and the venue's own details. You see who looks after the page and who has not joined yet, and you can send an invitation again or call it off.

- **Invitations**: one email for each person, with a link that does not expire
- **Two seats**: On the venue team, or Runs the venue
- **Who looks after this page**: everyone on the page and everyone still to join

We email you a link to the PDF. What to put in your PDF Enter your email

We will email you this deck. We may also email you now and then about Ticket Fairy features that can help your events. You can unsubscribe at any time with one click.

## Everything You Can Do With Your Venue Page

- ### Claim from the venue page

Claim the page with a code sent to your venue email address, and get your account and brand as you claim.
- ### Add a venue from your brand

Claim a venue page from inside the dashboard for a brand you already run, beside every other venue you look after.
- ### Page sections

Enter a heading and the words under it for each part of the page, such as Getting here, The rooms and Accessibility.
- ### Order of sections

Use Move up and Move down to put the sections in the order visitors read them.
- ### Drafts

Keep a section for your team until it is ready, then switch it on to the public page.
- ### Questions people ask

Answer what visitors ask before they come, in a list search engines read as questions and answers.
- ### A language for each section

Choose the language of each section, so staff who speak different languages can share one page.
- ### Undo

Take a section off the page and its words are kept, with Undo to put it back where it was.
- ### What changed

See every change to the page, newest first, with what it did, who made it and when.
- ### Editing as a team

When a teammate saves the same section first, your words stay in front of you until you have read their change.
- ### Venue team invitations

Invite the venue's booker or marketing manager by email to help keep the page current.
- ### Fai on your venue page

Ask Fai to add and change sections, set their order and invite the venue team, and she asks you to confirm each change.

  [Learn more](https://www.ticketfairy.com/features/fai)
- ### Asked and not joined yet

See who you invited and when each email last went out, then send it again or cancel it, with Keep it if you change your mind.
- ### Every venue you look after

Look after as many venues as you run from one brand, and adding a venue never changes who owns your brand.
- ### Fai keeps your team's work

Fai works from the version of the page she read, so she never saves over a teammate's change. Ask her who looks after the page, or to invite, remind or cancel an invitation.

## Questions About Venue pages

### Venue pages

#### Does a venue page cost anything?

No. The page is free and stays free whether or not you sell tickets with us. Claiming it puts nothing on sale and moves no money.

#### Which email address do I claim my venue page with?

An address at your venue's own website, where we send the code. The email code is offered only where the venue publishes a website of its own.

#### What if no email address at my venue's website reaches me?

Contact us, and a person checks the venue with you and sets the page up for you. A venue listed with only a social profile or a phone number is claimed this way too.

#### Can I claim the page if I do not own the venue?

Yes. Say you work with the team there, and you get the admin role on the venue and on your new brand, with the owner place left for whoever runs the venue.

#### Someone else at the venue has claimed the page already. What now?

A venue page has one brand looking after it at a time. Ask the team that holds it to add you, or contact us and we will sort it out with you.

#### How long does a claim code last?

A code is good for 15 minutes and allows five tries, and asking for a new one stops the old one working. A minute has to pass between codes to one address.

#### Who can change what the venue page says?

You can with an owner or admin login on the brand that looks after the venue, and so can the venue's own owner and admin. Other members of your brand team can see the venue in the Venues list.

#### Does the person I invite from the venue see my events or my money?

No. Their seat reaches the venue page, the venue's own details and the venue's entry passes, and nothing of your brand: not your events, your orders or your payouts.

#### Can I change everything the page says about my venue?

Your sections and answers are the part that is yours, and they sit above the description the page already carries. The address and opening details come from the venue record itself.

#### Can I claim with an address on part of the venue's website?

Yes. An address at a subdomain of the venue's website, such as bookings.yourvenue.com, works as well as one at the website itself.

#### How many venue team invitations can I send?

Each person can send a set number of invitations for a venue in an hour. Inviting someone who is already waiting sends them the invitation again, and an optional name greets them in the email.
