[Sunoh | The Archies | Zoya Akhtar | Agastya, Dot., Khushi, Mihir, Suhana, Vedang, Yuvraj | Ankur T](https://www.youtube.com/embed/9ozRrelI7jc?feature=oembed) *‘Sunoh’ – The Archies* “Being a pop culture and avid comic book reader myself, it was a real pleasure to be Archie’s singing voice for the first-ever film adaptation,” Tejas says. “It was definitely the biggest commercial project I’ve ever worked on yet, and the transition from independent music to playback singing was definitely challenging but was made extremely comfortable by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy and Ankur Tewari. Also jumping between Hindi and English was tricky especially since I had a majority of the singing in the OST, but I think my familiarity with rock ’n roll made it easier.” Tejas’ multi-lingual vocals are tracked on upbeat numbers ‘Sunoh,’ ‘Va Va Voom,’ ‘Jab Tum Na Theen,’ the somber ballad ‘Yeh Saari Aawazein,’ as well as on the jazzy ditty ‘Asymmetrical’ (performed with musician Aditi Saigal, best known as Dot., who also portrays Ethel in the film.) “‘Asymmetrical’ was probably the one I was most comfortable with because I was working on Dot’s music, which was far more in my territory,” notes Tejas. “I tried to put a little Michael Buble crooning in there.” ‘Sunoh,’ which was released in October, and ‘Va Va Voom’ are two of the film’s most popular tracks, gaining wide praise and traction on streaming platforms.
