Pulled from Dhingra’s experience of pursuing the celestial grandeur of the earth’s only natural satellite is ‘Moon Chaser.’ As with his previous works, this tune is thoughtfully layered with Indo-Afro instrumentation, consisting of the Ghatam, Tabla, Djembe (percussion instruments), and Bansuri (bamboo flute), also peppered in with delicious licks of a Swiss handpan. Right at the outset of ‘Moon Chaser,’ House Of TUNEMAN delivers an Afro-house intro coated with bellowing Alaap segments. The melody courses through with Indian classical vocals smudged with pulsating deep house textures and the aforementioned instruments on full display. According to the artist, this tune was inspired by the tranquility of the night, stating that “nights are more peaceful and serene to wander.” This score also sums up his idea of a solo traveler who links the diverse cultures they encounter.
