Ce dont vous avez besoin avant de commencer

  • You're a brand owner or admin.
  • You know the name buyers use for the recurring event without a year, date or edition number.
  • You know which words consistently appear in the event names, if you want future editions to join automatically.
  • You have decided whether buyers should have a public page that brings the upcoming editions together.
  1. Open Event Series

Open Brand, then Event Series. Select Create Event Series.

Create the series yourself when you want to choose its description, public page and automatic event rules before it is saved. Ticket Fairy can also suggest series from your event history; that quicker path is explained after the main setup.

Ticket Fairy Create Event Series dialog with a public page and automatic event rules
Brand, Event Series, Create Event Series.
  2. Name the series for every edition

Enter the Series name without a year or edition number, such as “Locus Tulum” rather than “Locus Tulum 2027”. Add a description that helps buyers recognise the series across its dates.

Individual events keep their own names, dates, venues, tickets and event pages. The series name is the lasting name that brings those editions together.

  3. Set the rule for future editions

Under Add matching events automatically, enter text in Name contains when the series name can appear anywhere in an event name. Use Name starts with when every edition begins with the same words. When you enter both, an event must meet both rules to join.

Use the shortest wording that identifies this series without catching a different event. “Locus Tulum” is safer than “Locus” when your brand runs Locus events in several cities. Leave both fields empty when you want to add every edition yourself.

  4. Publish a page for the series

Turn on Show this series on a public page when you want buyers to browse the upcoming editions together. Check the suggested web address and change it before you create the series if you want a different one.

The public page appears at www.ticketfairy.com/series/your-series-address after at least one current or upcoming edition is public and visible. You can keep the series private when it is only for organising your events.

  5. Create the series and check its editions

Select Create. In the Event Series table, choose the edition count to see the upcoming and past events that belong to it. Open an event from that list when you need to change its own tickets or event details.

Events that match your rule join automatically when they are created or renamed. Events added directly stay in the series even if their names later change.

Ou faites-le faire pour vous

Fai can find suggested series, create one with an automatic name rule, add known editions, make its buyer page public, or attach one event directly.

Dans votre tableau de bord, avec Fai

Set up a recurring series for <EVENT_NAME>. Find any earlier editions, suggest a rule that will include future dates, and show me the series name, events and public URL before creating it

Create a suggested series from your event history

When Ticket Fairy shows a suggested series on Event Series, check its name and the events it found, then select the suggestion to create it. Select Edit on the new series to add its description, change the automatic rule or publish its buyer page.

Suggestions appear after at least two event names share a recognisable series name. Events that already belong to a series are left out.

Fai can list the same suggestions and create the one you approve. MCP and the CLI do not manage event series.

Dans votre tableau de bord, avec Fai

Show me the suggested event series for <BRAND NAME>, including the editions in each suggestion. Recommend the best match and ask before creating it

Add an edition that does not match the name rule

Ask Fai to attach the event to the series and approve the change. This is useful for a special edition whose event name does not contain the usual series wording.

A directly attached event remains in the series when you later change the automatic rule.

Fai can attach the chosen edition directly. MCP and the CLI do not manage event series.

Dans votre tableau de bord, avec Fai

Add <EVENT NAME> to the series <SERIES NAME> as a directly attached edition. Show me the event date and venue, then ask before attaching it

Add several existing editions through Fai

Ask Fai to list the series and add the existing events you name. Check the event names and dates before you approve the change.

This adds the chosen events directly. Changing the automatic rule later does not remove them.

Fai can attach several named editions after showing you every date and venue. MCP and the CLI do not manage event series.

Dans votre tableau de bord, avec Fai

Add <EVENT NAMES> to the series <SERIES NAME>. Show me every event with its date and venue, then ask once before attaching them

Add future events at particular venues

Ask Fai to add a venue rule when the series always uses one venue or a known group of venues. Combine it with a name rule when both the event name and venue must match.

A future event must meet every rule you set. Use venue rules only when another event at the same venue would not be mistaken for this series.

Fai can add a venue rule alone or together with the series name rule. MCP and the CLI do not manage event series.

Dans votre tableau de bord, avec Fai

For the series <SERIES NAME>, add a rule for <VENUE OR VENUES>. Show me whether the existing name rule will also be required and which current events match before saving

Change the series name, rule or public page

Select Edit on the Event Series page. Change the name, description, automatic event rules or public-page setting, then save.

Turning the public page off keeps its web address, so you can turn it on again without choosing a new address. If a teammate saved a change first, reload the series before saving yours.

Fai can show the current series and update only the name, description, rules or public-page setting you choose. MCP and the CLI do not manage event series.

Dans votre tableau de bord, avec Fai

Show me the series <SERIES NAME>, its editions, automatic rules and public-page setting, then ask what I want to change and show the result before saving

Delete a series you no longer need

Select Delete beside the series, check the series name in the confirmation, then confirm. Deleting a series does not delete any of its events.

If a connected social account represents the series, change that account to the brand or an event first, then delete the series.

Fai can show the series, its editions and any connected social account before deleting only the series. MCP and the CLI do not manage event series.

Show me the series <SERIES NAME>, every edition and any connected social account. Confirm that its events will remain, then ask before deleting the series

Questions que vous pourriez avoir

What is the difference between a series and an event?
An event is one date or edition with its own tickets and event page. A series brings related events together under a lasting name.
Will a rule add an event because a single word matches?
Yes, if that is the only text you enter. Use enough of the event name to identify the series. If you use both “contains” and “starts with”, the event must meet both.
What happens if I leave the automatic rules empty?
No event joins automatically. You can ask Fai to add the editions you choose.
Does the public page show past editions?
No. It shows public editions that are current or upcoming. You can still see past editions from the Event Series page in the dashboard.
Why does the series address take me to the events page?
Publish at least one current or upcoming edition and make it visible without a password. Check that its start and end dates are valid. The series page opens after an edition is available to list.
Can one series include events at different venues?
Yes. Each edition keeps its own venue. Use a series name rule that identifies the recurring event without depending on one venue.
Does a series copy tickets or event artwork to the next edition?
No. Duplicate an existing event when you want to reuse its setup, then let the series rule add the new draft or attach it through Fai.
