This song was lyrically worked and stitched together in response to the band members’ thrilling experiences in Dunedin. In their career as indie musicians, the outfit evolved from a duo to a four-piece collective. Skegss – an Australian surf and garage rock group, Spacey Jane – an Australian rock band, and Mako Road – a Kiwi alternative/indie band, are among their musical influences.
