Nous nous entretenons avec le groupe alors qu’il dévoile ‘Back to You,’ son deuxième single, sorti quelques mois après ses débuts avec ‘In the Night.’ ‘Back to You’ révèle le côté plus lourd de No Neighbours Around (NNA), contrairement à ce que laissait entendre leur premier morceau, alors que le groupe poursuit son chemin en produisant une musique inspirée du rock. Bien que les deux titres aient été écrits à la même période, le succès triomphal rencontré par ‘In the Night’ a fortement motivé la sortie de leur nouveau single, selon le groupe lui-même. Les rythmes entraînants montent en puissance jusqu’à un solo de guitare rugueux qui mène le morceau à son aboutissement. À propos de la création du titre, NNA explique : “Comme pour notre premier morceau, ‘In the Night’, le riff principal de ‘Back to You’ a été présenté au groupe par notre bassiste, Vishwesh. La structure du morceau était terminée en quelques jours, à peu près au même moment que celle de ‘In the Night’. Au début, la plupart de nos concerts se composaient de ‘Back to You’ suivi de ‘In the Night’, ou inversement.” Le quatuor s’est exprimé sans détour sur la différence de réception entre ses deux morceaux. Alors que ‘In the Night’ était plus « sûr » et « adapté à la radio », le sujet et le son plus troubles du dernier single lui ont valu moins de placements en playlists et moins de streams. « Cela nous a certainement aidés à être pris un peu plus au sérieux », explique NNA à propos de sa situation. « Nous avons reçu des éloges de magazines comme Rolling Stone, ce qui nous porte à croire que le morceau s’en est plutôt bien sorti ! Le groupe travaille déjà sur un nouveau morceau qui accompagnera ‘Back to You’ et qui fera également intervenir son nouveau guitariste. « La cohésion générale du groupe s’est renforcée et nous restons attentifs à toutes les occasions qui pourraient se présenter. Même si des changements considérables ont eu lieu dans nos vies personnelles, nous sommes déterminés à faire vivre le groupe et à rester actifs.
