Porté par ces paroles — « I am tired of the city – these old smoky rooms – with faint glimpse of love – that never blooms – and I gotta hang on » — le morceau brosse un portrait saisissant des difficultés persistantes de la ville, habilement camouflées dans un titre jazzy-funk-rock plein d’énergie.
