All five songs have been mixed and mastered by Kolkata-based audio engineer Abhibroto Mitra. Biswas pulls in inspiration from the likes of Sting, John Mayer, Eddie Vedder, and Coldplay on his latest project, stating, “I have tried to stay true to my inspirations in creating a contemporary sound for this EP. Next up is ‘Daydreamer,’ which observes the singer-songwriter’s soft pop-rock tonality of the EP, plugged in with a delectable piano melody and nonchalant guitar riff. ‘[Falling](https://open.spotify.com/track/5rROy8FYWq5AjxlOcbtb7K)‘ presents a melancholic, pensive rhythm with tidy acoustic guitar and key shifts, while ‘[Free](https://open.spotify.com/track/3M76HrQHilIItcBI4WHZuo),’ a multilingual (English and Bengali) offering on the EP, pivots in with assertive vocal harmonies and head-bobbling swift transitions. Clocking in just under five minutes is ‘[Fly](https://open.spotify.com/track/5Q1Q7A8jHQKm4JmB0Xm4IA),’ which starts out as a piano-laced lyrical melody leaping into a rock ballad packed with catchy lyrics that a live crowd would latch onto, and also drills in an emphatic guitar solo. “While this is a personal song, it is also a shout-out to all the fearless women out there who never stop chasing their dreams and overcoming endless hurdles,” says Debajyoti. Speaking about the EP, Biswas shared with us, “This EP is a reflection on navigating and coming to terms with change in my life and the world at large.
