Featuring his previously released singles ‘Chai Song,’ ‘The Fruit,’ ‘I Will Let You Go,’ and ‘Time Machine,’ ‘Show Me What’s Real’ kicks off with the titular track – a four-minute hard-rock jam. It is followed by ‘Why Suzie Why,’ a bluesy-funk offering layered with powerful yet somber brass segments. The acoustic piece ‘Flicked A Switch’ boasts the guitarist’s vocal mastery in tandem with elegant choir-esque harmonies. ‘Once I Find You,’ a decisive rock composition, is tailored with sleek bass and percussive action, fixed with a tidy electric guitar riff. Next up is ‘I Can’t Go On,’ the record’s blues-rock offering, with the melodic track ‘Black Hole’ concluding the album. Exuding elegant key action and orchestral string arrangments, ‘Black Hole’ emphatically ascends to a powerful rock ballad.
