The single opens with an Indian classical vocal segment, followed by snappy percussive movements and plucky guitar rhythms piloted by Mana’s mellifluous vocals. A neatly arranged string segment by violist Judy Cruces is also winched to produce a dreamy debut offering. Enunciated as *Muhlee*, the Indian-origin trio Malli derives their name from the Kannada word for ‘Jasmine flower.’ The band consists of three full-time members: guitarist Arsh Sood, vocalist Mana Contractor, and multi-instrumentalist Navneet Rao.
