Faze Clan
Every gamer is bound to know the esports organization Faze Clan. It’s either due to their amazing in-game cosmetics and gun skins or their total domination in the 2023 CS:GO scene, where they took home numerous trophies. Faze Clan’s CS:GO team came back to play the ESL Pro League Season 17, where last year they faced a heartbreaking defeat in the finals. This time around, they completely dominated the tournament and left viewers in awe of their top-notch performance.
Let’s also not forget about the Atlanta Faze team that finally won the second major of the season in the Call of Duty League, ending the team’s losing streak in the finals. They also played the fifth Major and placed second, which helped secure their position among the top three teams in the CDL standings.
Their Halo team has secured some crucial victories as well, winning the Halo World Championship, the Arlington Major, and the HCS Global Event at Dreamhack Dallas. This year, their Rocket League team also finished second at the RLCS Winter Major, which was their best performance to date.
G2 Esports
In 2023, G2 was quick to secure wins at IEM Katowice, the Six Invitational, and the LEC Winter Playoffs, where fans of G2 witnessed them win three titles in CS:GO, Rainbow Six Siege Siege, and League of Legends in only two weeks. The win at IEM Katowice was the first time ever for the organization, while the win at the Six Invitational would be the second time they’ve held the hammer, but more importantly, G2 still stands undefeated in the LEC Winter Playoffs, securing their seventh consecutive win.
The women’s VALORANT team performed exceptionally well this year, as they secured wins at Game Changers events for the EMEA region that helped get them qualified for the Game Changers World Championship and eventually finished third.
Team Vitality
Team Vitality was named the best Esports organization of the year by the Esports Awards. The organization dominated every stage they entered, but many recall the victory at CS:GO Paris Major, primarily due to it attracting many watchers. But it was also a record fifth major victory for Peter “dupreeh” Rasmussen and the first for Mathieu “ZywOo” Herbaut, which helped clear that he is one of the greatest to touch the game. Another reason why the CS:GO Paris Major had an uproar was due to the attendees, who all came in to support Team Vitality on their home turf.

They also took part in the RLCS World Championship and completely dominated the group stage and playoff bracket, as well as winning the finals in a 4-0 victory. Team Liquid

The team was looking extremely good at the start of the year, but they weren’t able to gather enough championships. Team Liquid finished second at the Rainbow Six Copenhagen Major. The real heartbreak occurred when they finished second to the Gaimin Gladiators at all three majors and second at two other big events.
Fnatic
Fnatic is the only team in VALORANT history to win consecutive global events, winning their second consecutive international VALORANT event after winning VCT LOCK/IN. Fnatic had an extremely strong start to the year, at the top of the chart, walking around with a target on their backs. Unfortunately, they weren’t able to win the VCT EMEA league and the biggest event of the year, Champions. They ended the year with only three losses, yet they secured the title of the most valuable team in the world in 2023.
Fnatic had a tough time in 2023 with a disappointing finish in the ALGS World Championship, but the Japanese team won both splits of their regional league, APAC North, and finished in the top ten in both the split one and split two playoffs.
