Steered by seasoned concert producer and artist manager **MJ Lee**, Jungle Bells’ Summer Bells is scheduled for Saturday, **June 7**, 2025, at the bar, grill, and nightclub venue **Lunchbox Atlanta** in Atlanta, Georgia. He arrives on the back of releasing a floor-rattling DnB/grime mix ‘Outta Order’ (featuring multi-genre MC Riko Dan), and stops at DnB Allstars: Prague and Forbidden Forest (Grantham, England). Drum & bass aficionados Philippe Arghandeh Jouneghani and Robin Storm, best known as **T & Sugah**, will make their first appearance under the Jungle Bells banner at this concert. Their itinerary currently consists of shows in Atlanta, LA, Hawaii, and Orlando. **Philippe** of T & Sugah also dropped us an **exclusive** scoop about their set, remarking, “We’re looking forward to our Atlanta debut, Jungle Bells has been a show we’ve been wanting to do for a long time! I’m particularly excited to play our collab with Justin Hawkes, given that he’s on the lineup too; this seems like THE moment to announce the collab!” Billed as “the man literally carrying American drum & bass on his back,” DnB producer **Justin Hawkes** slots in with the headlining artists. The supporting cast is sure to match heavyweights, pulse for pulse and beat for beat, as hometown heroes Abigael Powel, best known as **Rowdy Rancher**, **Demotank**, and veteran **Platez** are enlisted to get behind the deck and dominate the dance floor. Putting aside her degree in biology, **Rowdy Rancher** has quickly become a household name in the Atlanta scene, rapidly rising as a DJ/producer tapped with the flair of a rollicking cowgirl. Her performances are renowned for their genre-bending soundscape, drenched in dubstep, house, and drum & bass. Speaking with us exclusively, Rowdy Rancher communicated, “I’m incredibly excited to perform at Summer Bells this year! This is the biggest drum and bass lineup I’ve been a part of to date, and sharing the stage with Turno, T & Sugah, and Justin Hawkes is a real honor. I’m also thrilled to be playing alongside some of my favorite local talent, Platez and Demotank, whose sets never fail to bring intensity. Each artist on this lineup brings something distinct to the DnB world, and I am excited to have been welcomed into it with open arms.” The Atlanta-based producer and DJ also gave us a glimpse of what to expect from her performance, noting, “From my set, you can expect high energy and basslines that hit like a stampede. I’ve been curating a performance specifically with Summer Bells in mind, and I’m excited to bring my sound to a crowd that truly lives for drum and bass.” Ahead of Summer Bells, we also got a chance to speak with an absolute titan of the industry, **MJ Lee**, a true lynchpin of the scene and the backbone of Jungle Bells. **TFword: Can you share your thoughts about the incredible line-up for the Jungle Bells kick-off show? MJ Lee:**Yes, we are very excited about it. We strive to bring artists to America that people do not get to see very often. We pride ourselves on not just sitting around waiting to see who is on tour, but instead going out and getting the artists we want. Regardless of whether they have been to America before or even if they don’t have an American agent already. We help them with all of that. **TF: Beyond the music, what can attendees look forward to at the concert?** **MJ Lee:** Well, for one thing, we have the largest VOID Sound System in the Southeastern United States. So your bones will rattle and your ears will be pleased. **TF: Can you talk about how Jungle Bells is instrumental to the drum & bass scene in Atlanta?** **MJ Lee:** Well, we are obviously the biggest show in town. And if my calculations are correct, and I’m pretty sure they are, we have been the largest all Drum n Bass event in America for the past four years running. So we really go out of our way to top ourselves from the year prior. As such, this year we are doing the Summer Bells series, plus our Autumn Bells show, plus we are planning tours around America. So, yes, I would say no one is doing it bigger than us. **TF: Anything else you’d like us to highlight about the show?** **MJ Lee:** We just want everyone to come out and see how great our little scene here in Atlanta is. I’ve been all over the world, and I promise you there is nothing like the welcome and open arms you will receive in Atlanta. I think we have one of the best scenes in the world. And it is what keeps me here, when I could live anywhere else I want to. **TF: Over 30 years in the business, what keeps you motivated, and can you share a learning that keeps you going?** **MJ Lee:** Well, I wake up every day trying to learn more. I believe the day you wake up and think you know everything is the day you should hang up the reins. If there’s one thing I learned in this business, it’s that no matter how big you get, you can always learn something more.
